Additional info & updates

All money reported is renewable/per year.

I'm going to take the LSAT again. I believe I can score higher, and being white I need to, in order to get any sort of scholarship.

I didn't even apply at Florida, but they said if I did I would be in and get at least 7k/year renewable scholarship.

Didn't think I would get deferred at Akron, don't really care that much, it was a free application.

Received a packet in the mail from Gonzaga, accepted with money. Nice to know I have an option to go to a school I would like to go to.

Letter arrive in the mail from University of New Mexico, I was rejected, but they did sent me an earlier letter stating that they had a very limited number of seats for out of state applicants. I just saw that there numbers are not stellar so I figured I had a shot. There acceptance percentage (17ish) is really low for how low their numbers are overall. I'm over it. I honestly didn't want to go there, but is still sucks being rejected.

Sweet! I received an acceptance letter from University of Miami. In the acceptance letter it stated a scholarship proposal would follow in three weeks. I hope it is a lot because their tuition is expensive, 32K a year!

Went on vacationfor a week, came back to three rejection letters(University if Idaho, Lewis &Clark, ASU). Bummer. I'm going to see if Lewis & Clark will let me apply to the part time program just have more options. As of right now- even though UM tuition is high - UM is my best choice. I guess being a minority at UM helped me.

I received an email from Lewis & Clark. They stated that I would have to reapply in August to be considered for part time. Bummer. Still just playing the waiting game...

Came home to two small white envelops (Small is not good). Rejected at University of Utah and UNLV. I knew Utah was a long shot, but I at least thought I had a chance at UNLV. Guess I was just a wishful thinker.

Hey Stocks, Good luck to you this cycle. Noticed that we have a few schools in common and that our stats are similar. If you have any questions about the campus at the University of Utah, let me know as this is my undergrad.

I agree

Being rejected is really disheartening especially when you know that you would kick all kinds of butt at the school you got rejected from. But you still have a very challenging undergrad major, and a good lsat and gpa so you would be a great candidate for Santa Clara. IP certification is yours if you want it. Good luck.

I was also put on hold by Miami and I was wondering if you had sent them any additional information. I am having a hard time deciding what to send.. any idea if a second LOR is better than another Personal Statement? Do you think it would carry more weight if the reccommender was an alum?
