They notified me by email but I'm still waiting for the letter in the mail which is supposed to contain a scholarship offer. Have you heard from anywhere yet?

congratulations on your acceptances. I applied in november but you probably applied earlier if you already got acceptances. In any case hope the rest of your applications have good results.

Thanks for your wishes. I didn't apply to many schools. With my low LSAT score, I don't anticipate getting accepted. According to all the data, I have zero chances. If I get accepted this year, it will be truly a miracle. I plan to retake the LSAT if I don't get accepted this year. Thanks for your tip to applying to safety schools. Good luck to you too!

We do have some similar stats but you kicked my butt in the GPA part :-P good job! I would LOVE chicago or something but that is a bit of a far shot. I don't really know about school but I def. want a good location. What about you?

Did you ever receive an email stating that your application was complete for SLU? I've received nothing and I wasn't sure whether it is normal or not...

congrats on all the schools and if I were you I would talk to the school of my choice and ask them if they can spare some money saying that USC gave you $12,000 (at least that is what the people of color booklet tells you to do). Wouldnt hurt to try.

I'm happy with Houston but BYU would be a great choice as well. As far as my status, it says "in review" and its been like that since the start of Jan.

It's nice to see someone else applying that is similar to me. It looks like we both applied to BYU and UU. Congrats on acceptance to the U. I applied last year and got waitlisted at both. Guess we will see what happens this year. Wish me luck. If we happen to end up at the same school (thats if I get in at either) we should hook up. just wanted to say thanks - being over 35 and in the midst of mostly 20-somethings is challenging to say the least. I lived in Portland for years; one of my friends actually graduated from L&C and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Best wishes

I would invite you to take a serious look at UB Law for some of the following: --Being the only law school in the entire State University of NY and being rated a STRONG Tier 2, it is known as the best public law school in the entire northeast. --The faculty are top-notch. My criminal law professor wrote the text used across the country. --Every first year student has a mentor. Mentors are UB alums and practicing attornies. --No curve in any class....this means folks help one another, cheerlead one another.... --After first year there is only one required course....YOU GET TO CRAFT YOUR 2nd and 3rd year program !! --Tuition is very low --You get to have WORLD CLASS SNOWBALL FIGHTS ! I got my scholarship notification the week before the open house. I did go, and had a great time and have already put in my seat deposit for the U. It was between the U and Baylor only because Baylor gave me a full scholarship, but the one from Utah is almost as good...and I will save some money just by not having to move! So are you going to the U then over Buffalo?

I'll look forward to seeing you at the U this fall. I'm really excited to be going there.
