Scholarships totals are over three years and include out-of-state tuition waivers.

10/28 - Received my acceptance e-mail from Duke. Yay for my first acceptance!

11/2 - In at Georgetown. While I haven't received the letter yet, I am able to log into the accepted students site and it says "Welcome, [insert my name here]."

11/7 - Received my acceptance letter from Georgetown in the mail.

11/9 - In at Texas. Received a large packet in the mail. Scholarship information arrived the next week.

11/20 - Received a large acceptance package from Michigan. My status checker had changed to "Decision" the day before. I was accepted into the summer start program.

11/24 - Thin acceptance letter from Wash U in the mail.

12/6 - Vanderbilt status checker went to decision. I received a letter and large acceptance package a few days later.

12/12 - Deferral e-mail from Berkeley. The admissions committee will review my file and give me a decision in mid-Feb.

12/18 - In at Northwestern via e-mail.

12/20 - Phone call acceptances from Penn and UCLA!

12/22 - Into USC via snail mail.

12/24 - Received thin Cornell acceptance letter a day after going to decision on the status checker. Included was an invite to apply for the Dean's scholarship.

1/7 - Status checker went to decision at UVA. Received a thin envelope with my acceptance on 1/11.

1/23 - Email informing me about my full ride at Wash U!

1/24 - Very nice acceptance phone call from U of Chicago

2/4 - My ding at Stanford (by snail mail) was offset nicely by $90,000 scholarship at USC (offer sent via snail mail). Nice!

2/7 - Deferred at Harvard by email. Better than what I was expecting, so I will take it!

2/15 - Called Berkeley to ask about my status, and they told me over the phone that I was rejected.

2/25 - Received my deferral letter from Columbia in the mail.

2/26 - Dean's Scholarship from Cornell!!! I received the offer via snail mail.

2/28 - Duke scholarship offer in the mail.

3/2 - Vanderbilt scholarship offer via snail mail.

3/5 - Michigan scholarship offer via snail mail.

3/13 - Scholly from Nwestern via e-mail!

3/15 - Rejected by Yale via regular mail. To be expected

4/19 - Received a letter from Columbia saying that they were putting me on their reserve list even though I had already withdrawn. Better than I expected considering I didn't write a LOCI.
