Additional info & updates

All of the schools to which I'm applying have a public interest bent because that is my sole reason for pursuing a JD. I'd be happy to go to any school in my top 6.
------------------------------------------------
4/3 - I submitted my $500 (yikes) deposit to Northeastern today. My cycle is over and I'm now counting down the days until I move to Boston!

3/29 - Rejected from Oregon. I figured, but it's still slightly disheartening. Northeastern it is :-)

3/5 - Rejected at Loyola via snail mail. Ouch, it burns.

2/5 - Accepted to William & Mitchell. I found out by email, but apparently a decision letter (which has yet to reach my mailbox) was sent in mid-December.

2/3 - Accepted to Albany via status checker

1/22 - Deferred at Lewis & Clark via email.

1/19 - In at NYLS via business envelope

12/21 - Accepted at Hofstra via email. Status checker says I have an "Honors Scholarship letter" on the way...

12/16 - Accepted at American via large priority mail envelope. Also received my Vermont Law School admission via large envelope today.

12/12 - IN AT NORTHEASTERN!!!! Via small envelope. So excited!! :-) No scholarship, but hey, with my numbers I should be thankful to have simply gotten accepted. Barring an acceptance/amazing offer from Marymount or Lewis & Clark, I'll be at Northeastern next fall!!

12/11 - In at Vermont Law via e-mail! Withdrawing from Baltimore. Did not receive my Northeastern decision letter.

12/10 - No letter today. *sigh*

12/9 - I am really excited/nervous right now. My status checker at Northeastern (under mailings) says that a decision was mailed today. I wasn't expecting this for a while -- it's only been three weeks since my app. was complete. Northeastern is also my #1 school, so to say I have mixed emotions right now is quite an understatement. We'll see what happens...

Update: After a bit of LSN research, it appears that over the last two years, Northeastern has never sent out rejection letters prior to mid-January. Wait-list letters have also come later in the cycle. That makes me feel a little better, but I'm still worried. I loathe waiting!

12/1 - First acceptance! I'm in at Baltimore via status checker. Nowhere near my top choice, but at least I'm guaranteed to be going somewhere next year... haha.

11/24 - All apps are in except for CUNY - Queens and UNC. I will eventually apply to both.

With your decision from baltimore, you saw it on the status checker? What did it say? I heard they sent all decisions through the mail.

How are you a URM? It doesn't say in your profile.

I am waiting on additional decisions to come in and then I will make my choice but as it stands I am going to Northeastern. Do you live in Mass. and have you been to the campus?

Did your status checker change from Application complete to under review at VLS? Mine has been complete for months now. I was just wondering if they keep you up to date with where your application is in the process, or if they only tell you once a decision is made. Thanks for the help. Congrats on your acceptances!
