Held several leadership positions in co-ed service fraternity.
Long time member and part of exec team for multicultural organization on campus. I was also part of the pre-law society for about 3 years. Student Government Association Member. University Recruitment comittee. I also had tons of community service because of my involvement in the service fraternity.

After undergrad I began working as an insurance agent and tax preparer for
an agency. My intrest grew in tax law after helping associates prepare for IRS audits and have also attended a few audits myself. I will more than likely go into tax law.

I know that my numbers suck, I took the LSAT twice but I could not get out of the 140's..kinda sad, but I know I can do well if I get in somewhere. I should have taken my undergrad more seriously too, I was too involved in on campus organizations and i'm not gonna lie, my week-ends started on thursday nights. I'm serious about law school but, we will have to see what happens since I screwed up my gpa. As far as schools go, I will go anywhere they take me. The following is the list of law schools in order of preference:

1. Texas Tech
2. University of Houston
3. South Texas School of Law
4. Texas Weselyan School of Law
5. St. Mary's University School of Law
6. Texas Southern University School of Law
7. University of Arkansas School of Law at Little Rock

I'm not sure if i'll get into any of these i know some of them if not most of them are a long shot for me. Wish me luck because thats what i'm counting on...ha

I'm late on updating all of the information for the schools I applied to, but all of my applications have been submitted for the schools listed above, and they are all being reviewed.

I really hate waiting for a reply, and the status checker for each school makes it worse. LOL Tech was wayyy slow on updating theirs just to let me know that my application was complete.

I GOT IN SOMEWHERE!! It's my number 6, but I will be able to say that I am a L1 this time next year. I got into Texas Southern University School of law btw.

Just waiting for the other replies now..tick tock...

Yesterday I got two rejection letters in a regular sized envelope. One from Tech which I kind of expected, and one from St. Mary's, I thought I might have a chance at St.Mary's, but i guess not. For some reason i'm not that bummed out although Tech was my top choice, so it still sucks that i wont be going there.

Also, the rejection from Tech pretty much assures a rejection from University of Houston...so there!! Well life must go on....i have already sent my deposit for TSU.

Ill update the rest as it comes in. Good luck to all those who have applied and congratulations to those with acceptances!!
