08/04 - Wanted to just chime in one last time - I wasn't surprised by the "WL, rejected" schools simply because I didn't really do anything to pursue them. I'll be attending Michigan this fall and am so thrilled with how everything worked out!

05/02 - Officially done with the season!!!! FINALLY!!

04/28 - "Released" from UVA's waitlist, aka rejected. I'm actually ok with this because I was slowly coming around to preferring Michigan over UVA, despite UVA being much cheaper (in-state tuition). I'm glad that UVA didn't drag this on forever, and just went ahead and let me know.

04/27 - Email from Northwestern saying my "on hold" application is now a waitlist. No surprise since I didn't really pursue it. I went ahead and promptly withdrew.

04/06 - Second biggest shock of this cycle - rejected at USC. Really surprised. This has not been a good week for me...

04/05 - Waitlisted at Emory??!!! Biggest shock of this cycle - in a bad way. I was 99% sure I'd be accepted. Doesn't matter. I didn't want to attend anyway. Will withdraw asap. Just mad that I didn't get to reject them!

03/27 - Waitlisted at UPenn via email... wooohoooo. sick of the waitlists.

03/26 - After 3 1/2 months, finally heard back from Wash U! They emailed my acceptance. It's definitely a school I'm interested in.

03/24 - Waitlisted at UCLA and promptly withdrew! Didn't plan on going, but was totally hoping I could've rejected them. Ahhh well.

03/10 - Beginning to withdraw from schools. Time to open up the space for others that would like to go! I'm pretty much going to Michigan, unless Columbia takes me off the reserve list...

03/05 - Placed "on hold" at Northwestern - which is apparently not quite the waitlist. They'll review my application in April... ahhhh, on hold/reserve/waitlisted at almost every top school all because of my lsat score!!! It's ok though, I have Michigan and I was always pretty sure I would choose Michigan over Northwestern!

03/02 - "Reserve" at Columbia! I'm pretty happy since I thought I was going to get outright rejected. Nice to know I still have a chance?! I will definitely pursue it for all it's worth!!!

2/23 - Watilisted at Vanderbilt. Never particularly wanted to attend; only applied because I received a fee waiver. Will not be pursuing the waitlist.

02/18 - Just got an email saying I'm in at GW!

02/12 - Logged onto my Berkeley status checker and was informed that I was rejected. A bit bummed since it was my top choice.

01/30 - First rejection... from Georgetown. I was surprised because I had applied to both the PT and FT program and thought that at the very least I would get into the PT program since I'm currently working in DC. It's ok though, I've got Michigan! :)

01/26 - ACCEPTED AT MICHIGAN! This was so unexpected and I was so shocked to see a big white envelope in the mail - I was originally afraid that it was just a brochure or something!

01/22 - "On reserve" at Cornell via mail. Semi-expected, but I was also hoping that maybe I'd get in...

01/09 - Received an email from UVA - waitlisted. Email was sent out Friday 9 pm! Who does that?! ahhh... now I need to figure out a good "Why Virginia" essay to prove to them that they should let me in! A bit bummed - the two acceptances had me being positive, and now I'm thinking I'll be waitlisted at all top schools. Dumb lsat.

01/08 - Accepted at William and Mary! Mailed acceptance letter and scholarship offer through priority mail.

01/06 - Called GW and discovered my application was complete and already under review. Received email about application received in early December, but never received the email saying my application was complete like they had promised. Good thing I called!

12/24 - Received phone call from Boston U - accepted! What a great x'mas present! I was told to expect the acceptance package in the mail in about a week.

12/19 - Email from Berkeley saying my application is now under review!

12/11 - Off-campus interview with Northwestern! Think it went well. Interviewer mentioned that he would write in my evaluation that he does not believe my LSAT score is a good indicator of my success in school... hopefully that'll help me?
