My boyfriend is currently both the JD/MPA program at Syracuse, he really loves it! Are you going to stay on Syracuse's waitlist?

That's cool - how does he say his job prospects are looking like? And yes, I am staying on the waitlist, but only until July 1.

I actually haven't really heard him talk a lot about it, but he's focused more in Buffalo (that's where we're from) in terms of getting work. Good luck to you!

I just received a $6,000 Dean Academic Scholarship!!!! I have to remain in the top 1/3 of my class to keep it, but what better incentive to study harder! Ya baby :)

Hey man! It's good to see a fellow Utahn on here. Anyways, I just got a voice mail last Monday from Collin Mangrum asking me if I was still interested in Creighton. I have been out of town for the last two weeks so I haven't had a chance to talk to him. I am very impressed with Creighton (I have visited the campus and it's gorgeous!) but my wife and I are holding out for U of Richmond. Creighton is still definitely a possibility but we're waiting on Richmond. How did you decide on Creighton?

My wife and I just got back from visiting Creighton. It's awesome! We loved it! We actually met with Professor Mangrum and he is big advocate for Utah students. Huge Plus! Dean Culhane is very nice as well. The location is sweet becuase of the several Fortune 500 comanies and big law firms, but is not too busy. Omaha is great for someone who likes the city but still enjoys the feeling of "country roads." Creighton recruited very well and even offered me a scholarship which was extremely helpful in the decision process. I hope you choose to come to Creighton. GO JAYS!!! Let me know if you have any other questions.

I interned for the Utah House of Representatives during the 2008 General Session with Representative Mascaro. He gave me a very nice letter of recommendation. I also worked with Utah's Attorney General Mark Shurtleff during his U.S. Senatorial race as one of his Delegate Supervisors since I was already a state delegate and knew how the process worked. It was a spectacular experience! But you should totally go and visit Creighton. The campus is beautiful and the city is great! There are many opportunities at Creighton that may not be availible elsewhere. Creighton is a mid-west powerhouse and sister-school to the University of Utah. If you have any other questions feel free to ask...
