Naw, I didn't get the Webster, I'm an alternate like just about everybody else. Too bad, I'd think my recent awards and whatnot might have increased the odds. As for why WashU- well, I love St. Louis, I have family there, and the school has done everything to win me over. I'm happy to be attending!
I'm confused. Maybe I'm just slow, but I don't get why you have "W" there in addition to "A". Are you attending or did you withdraw?
Honestly, I felt no need to put additional pressure on myself or the school for scholarship $$$- they're consistent with folks in my Index range. I wanted to know by Christmas if I was attending... and now I know- it all worked out!
