Additional info & updates

Well, I finally got an acceptance- Southern New England, not ABA Accredited so definitely keeping my fingers crossed that another acceptance comes my way. 2/27

Southern offered a 25% tuition scholarship, not too expensive in the 1st place, so thats pretty cool. Maybe an option to start there for a semester or 2 and then transfer. We'll see. 3/3

Rejected at UB, Waitlisted at New England, & Accepted into Cooley w/a 25% scholarship. 3/6

Waitlisted at WNESL. 3/7

Accepted at Touro-Woo Hoo, Waitlisted at Pace. So far, it's definitely looking like Touro is where I'm gonna be. 3/8

Decision made, sending in my seat deposit for Touro. Still haven't heard from a few schools, but Touro was one of my top choices from the start and the location and advantages of the new building make it really appealing. Good Luck everyone! :-) 3/13

I'm not sure why I didn't get in, although I probably wouldn't have attended the school anyway. I may call back, after the cycle, to do the whole post-mortem thing.

Top Choice

I think WVU, Buffalo, Penn State or Duquesne, would be my top choices. However, I am still looking into Touro and Tulsa, as they seem to be my best options so far. I would like to go visit there for a weekend in the next few weeks. I have heard mixed things about the rep of touro, but they always seem to be from people who love prestige. So you cant give those to much attention. I know compared to NYU and the other high ranked schools its not as good. but it would be nice to see how their rep holds up in NY. GOOD LUCK

Touro or Tulsa
Thursday, November 10 2005 at 07:00 PM

I think I am leaning towards Tulsa at the moment. Touro I think is a comparable school but the room and board aspect is alittle too high for me at the moment, without any scholarship money. No schools have offered me money so far, but the cost of living is definitly alot lower in Tulsa. I am hoping to get some $$$$ from Touro, because I wrote them a letter hoping to be reconsidered so I will have to wait and see what happens. Best Wishes, and CONGRATS again on Touro.

Thanks...I am shooting for NYLS or Rutgers but realistically it's between Loyola and Touro so far

Hey, I got WL at New England too. Did you do anything (submit more letters, etc.) to improve your application? I want to get off the WL, so any advice you can give would be most appreciated! Thanks

Hey i got accepted into Touro yesterday. I was gonna sit out and reapply next cycle but now I'm not sure due to pressure from my parents. I'm trying to decide whether I should attend and transfer or wait until next year. Can you respond with some feedback please? I included my email.
