01/07/10 - In at Florida Coastal with a $20,000 scholarship. I don't intend to go here but its nice to know that I'm being considered somewhere.

01/25/10 - As of right now, all of my applications are complete. The waiting game begins....

01/27/10 - Status Checker Texas Southern: Decision Sent Today. Hopefully there is some good news via snail mail.

I also called St. Mary's yesterday and spoke to the recruiter there. I gave her my numbers and she advised me that there's a good possibility I can be accepted either as a full time applicant or through their summer program. At this point, I just want to get to law school!

02/02/10 - In at Texas Southern via snail mail. Decision came in a small white envelope.

The wait continues for my top choices....

02/10/10- Decided to withdraw from Florida Coastal. Never really saw myself going there and I want to stay in Texas. Good luck to anyone that attends fcsl.

Sent an additional lor to st. mary's and south Texas......hopefully this helps. I've done all I can up to this point.

3/03/10- Under Review at Ole Miss. I'm starting to get really impatient with St. Mary's. With my numbers I expect to get waitlisted but you never know with these kind of things.

3/12/10- Accepted at South Texas College of Law via email!

3/26/10 - It's been a long and stressing process but I'm happy to finally start law school. I sent my deposit to STCL yesterday and I'm getting all my financial aid in order. Best of luck to everyone who is still waiting on decisions. Stay positive and don't be discouraged from applying again if it doesn't work out this time around. I was rejected from almost every school I applied to last year but I worked hard and now Im happy where Im at. If I can do it... anyone can! Good luck and god bless

Hey Carter, So far there has been no decision on South Texas. Since they dont start reviewing applications till late February, I dont expect a decision till late March or early April. Keep me updated on your status. Good luck!

Hi TexLaw. Just wanted to say hello and good luck! I have a similar profile. I'm only applying to South Texas this cycle. I re-took LSAT Feb 2010. Hoping for 150s. I also have extensive legal expereince, 10+ years. I applied to South Texas in the 2007-08 cycle with my 147, and got a waitlist.
