No need to look for new housing for you! I'm 90% sure I'm going. The pros outweigh the cons. I'm trying to find some minorities to talk to in order to see how their experience has been.
i see you've indicated you're attending on your account. is that for sure? are you already in athens for Ugrad? i've left my email in case that's more conducive for talking. i'm pretty much thinking i'll end up at UGA now too. i'm planning on visiting for Christmas break, so any info you have on what i should check out while i'm there would be helpful. -trev

I do love how fast UGA is turning out decisions. It is so nice not to have to wait until January/February to even hear back from them. I am very excited about Georgia! I think I will probably plan a trip down there this winter/early spring and check it out, although i've heard nothing but good things about Athens. Congrats again on your acceptance and maybe I will see you in the fall in GA!

Hey! Thanks for the comment on my profile...I actually never went complete at UGA. I got an email saying that my application was active and giving me a link to their online app status checker with my name and password, and then I didn't hear anything again after that. I checked the status thing every few days, and one day it just came up as CONGRATULATIONS! The next day I got the letter in the mail. I'd say if your LOR is on it's way, it won't take them too long to get back to you when everything is in. They seem to be pretty prompt, which is great. Best of luck to you!
