1/25/10-received berkeley email acceptance and NYU acceptance in the postal mail :)

2/8/10-e-mail from columbia requesting fall grades. i think this means i'm borderline

2/16/10-phone call from ucla and i'm in! and letter in mail from usc saying i'm in

2/18/10-in at columbia yaaaayyyy

2/24/10-went to an admitted students reception for NYU. I had no idea what the dress code was so i was kind of underdressed. still, very interesting, very cool

2/25/10-acceptance from georgetown via postal mail!

2/26/10-waitlisted at michigan today :/

3/4/10-phone call from UPenn. My cell phone died in the middle of the call, but she was so nice and just joked around about it when I called her back haha.

3/10/10-waitlist email from virginia and chicago

3/19/10-rejection letter from yale. :'( it was so cold and sterile

3/23/10-hold e-mail from harvard sigh

4/14/10-i called stanford today to see the status of my application, and they said a decision was mailed to me two days ago, which I'm pretty sure means a rejection...o well this will make my decision leaning towards columbia stronger

4/15/10-actually stanford put me on hold, sigh....

4/18/10-waitlist e-mail from harvard...plan on sending my deposit for columbia in the next few days. yay!!

5/24/10- JR1 email from Harvard. OMG!!!!!!

5/25/10-I blew the JR1 :( I was stupid enough to say that it would be a hard decision to choose between Columbia and Harvard. WHAT WAS I THINKING!? No offer of admission. Why must they torture me so :'(

5/25/10 I called Dean Rubenstein back and told him that I was nervous during the interview an that if I received and offer than of course I would choose Harvard! An hour later I got an offer. I AM IN DISBELIEF!

Thanks!!! Chose Columbia because my boyfriend, family, and friends are all in NY... plus, I want to work corporate in NY after I graduate, so it didn't really make much of a difference.
