Additional info & updates

All scholarships are per year

2/8/13 Really wanted Hastings. Realistically, I don't think I will get into Irvine or Davis, or even Hastings at this point. I think I'm pretty much going to USD, which is cool. Great area.

3/27/13 NOT GOING TO LAW SCHOOL. I'm going to work 1-2 more years, retake the LSAT at least two more times, and reapply. Goodbye.

Thanks for the congrats! For Loyola, my status checker changed to "decision rendered" then, I got a packet in the mail a couple days after! Good luck on your cycle! I'll def be checking in on your profile. Yay for number twins!

Looks like a great cycle so far. Any idea where you want to end up, you like me, have spread apps all around!

The Chicago area is ideal for me, because it is the market I am most familiar with, but I have some flexibility to relocate if I get some scholarship money. Should be an interesting cycle for sure

URM?

I was just wondering if you were a URM?

Loyola

Loyola offered me no money when I was first admitted, but I sent them a bold but slightly vague email about how finances were a large consideration... and they just sent me an offer for $30K! I'm not sure if you were considering Loyola at all but its worth a shot

It took about a week for them to get back to me. First by email, then a letter a couple days after. I didn't write explicitly which schools offered me money... and I didn't say specific numbers... I just said I was offered from anywhere between 10K-23K....and that I was willing to go to a lower ranked school over Loyola solely because of money.
