american acceptance - got the call from akira shiroma (asst dean of admissions) around 11 am, 4/28. he offered both full and part time, and was nice enough to give me a couple hours to make my final choice about which i wanted. hell, i never expected a response so quick i just sent my reply form thursday a week ago!

If you don't get into law school this year, consider working at the USPTO - you'll get patent experience, some time to see if you even want to do IP work (if that's even why you're going to law school) in an extremely flexible workplace. Plus they're about to hire a boatload of new examiners, and I see a lot of people are having a hard time finding jobs this year.

i told him i would be attending but that i needed a couple hours to determine if i would go full time. ended up calling him back about 2 pm...some things happening with my business made me think about going PT. he didnt give me a specific timeframe, but i offered to have an answer in 2-3 hrs, so i suppose since its early that was good enough
