Hey- I heard from Mercer through an e-mail. I'm still waiting on some other schools, but at least it is a start! Best of luck on the rest of the cycle!
My status checker at ole miss went from complete, to Orr evaluation to committee review all in the same day. Still just says committee review, but I received my acceptance letter in the mail last week. So don't rely on their status checker.
Congratulations on Mercer. Unless something else changes, I will probably end up there. My acceptance package mentioned nothing of scholarships either, and I doubt I would qualify for any. Most scholarships are merit-based, which are based on the LSAT score. :(
I am in at Mercer, too, and will go there barring an unbelievable offer from somewhere else. I visited them last week and was really impressed; they actually teach legal writing while most places leave you to figure it out yourself.
Congrats on the acceptances! FWIW I haven't heard from GSU yet and I applied the day after Thanksgiving...
Any word on a scholarship? And, out of curiosity, why Mercer for a Yankee girl :-)?
My top 2 are U of the Pacific and Mercer, probably. U of the Pacific is attractive because I might enjoy the Cali scene after living in the South for all my life.
Just wondering if you heard back at all from Ole Miss. I'm in the same waitlist boat and I'm trying to get a read on how long it will take..
yes I put down a deposit at Elon...but I am waiting to see about SC's waitlist as well as if Stetson has some kind of an appealing decision...
