Taking the LSAT on saturday, scored a 171 and a 169 on my last two practice tests. Realllyy hoping to break 170. Good extracurriculars plus URM plus good LSAT (fingers crossed) and I'll catch a bite or two up high. Otherwise i'll probably just end up in Louisana

took the LSAT last saturday. Felt really bad about the games - not very confident in my score, we will see though. I'm guessing I got around a 168

Beginning to receive a number of fee waivers! Will add a couple of schools that I had not originally planned on applying to as a result.

More fee waivers - so exciting to open my box and get them lol. I'm really hoping for waivers for Duke, Tulane, and LSU now

No more fee waivers so far :/ and Duke and Tulane said no. Went ahead and sent out my first batch of applications! my transcripts/letters should all be in very soon

emailed UVA and changed my application to early decision (it's no longer actually "early decision" per se but those of you familiar with the process will understand). I really thought it out and believe I would be very happy at UVA, and I've heard nothing but great things from friends that went there. I would be thrilled if I got in (and to be done with my cycle so soon). Now if only LSAC could finish my law school report!

My UVA application went complete last Wednesday. I've had a little bit of email back and forth with some people relevant to my admission and I'm feeling pretty good about it... I'll find out soon!

Waitlisted at UVA - that's OK. At least I know I won't get auto-rejected from everywhere now lol

I received an invitation to interview for Georgetown the same day I was waitlisted at UVA! Probably the only thing that could have turned that day from crappy into pretty alright. Just finished my interview this morning and I feel really good about it.

Received a fee waiver from LSU and Wash U St. Louis so sent in my apps to both of those! I'm strongly considering LSU if they top the charts in money I get offered.

Ugh getting so impatient - I would KILL to get an admissions letter from Georgetown right around now... having a T14 acceptance before the holidays would make Christmas soooo much more enjoyable

So, on reserve at Cornell and still "held for further review" at Georgetown. I don't think I would go to either over UVA in the abstract, but money could change the equation. Maybe I'll send them both some follow up essays

withdrew from Cornell - with another T14 acceptance, Ithaca seemed a little remote/dreary for my tastes. Dunno if I should withdraw from Georgetown though... Still considering it.
Also received my first scholarship offer! Out of state waiver for OU. Nice to see somebody wants me :)

Accepted to Wash U St. Louis today! email says my application is being looked at by the scholarship committee. Let's see if they can make me a good enough offer to steal me away from UVA :)

Applied to Tulane not too long ago. Only reason I hadn't before is because they're an expensive school, but in the crazy world where they give me a full ride, I'd pretty strongly consider going there. We'll see. Also, e-mailed LSU last night forwarding them my Wash U offer and my UVA admissions letters; I asked LSU if they thought they could raise my offer. Dean of admissions said he would "work on it at the next scholarship meeting". That's all I can ask for :)

In at IU Bloomington yesterday w/ 30K and In at Tulane this morning with "scholarship information in the mail"!! Great couple of days!

Scholarship from Tulane = 75K - just over half tuition. Not cheap enough to beat out LSU and not prestigious enough to beat out Virginia... I'm gonna write them a letter asking for the 105K they give out occasionally. If I get that, I'll seriously consider it.

LSU also upped my scholarship offer to full tuition today! Super ecstatic....

Heard from a friend that Tulane has a "strict no negotiating" policy - has anyone else heard this/anyone know anything about negotiating with Tulane?

It's down to LSU, Tulane, or Virginia for me... LSU extended their deposit deadline to match Tulane's, April 16. I'm visiting Charlottesville this weekend and will be making the decision while still there... This is really tough for me

Well, just received a note that my Vanderbilt decision was sent! Pretty high chance they rejected me, considering I applied via a last minute fee waiver.. It'd be pretty cool if they accepted me anyway, though!

And... another waitlist. That makes me waitlisted by UVA, Georgetown, Penn, UCLA, Vanderbilt, and held by Cornell... nobody had a damn clue what to do with me this cycle!!
