How long did it take from time you submitted app to time you heard? Did they call, mail, email...? Thx!

Hey CAGIRL, in response to your question-- I heard from UM by mail. Small vanilla envelope, back in December. I'm curious, if you're from CA than why didn't you apply to any of the schools there? There are lots of great public ones with in-state tuition that I would have loved to apply to-- but I'm from NY, so it wouldn't be a bargain for me...

Can you tell me how you did your FAMU personal statement? How in depth, how did you format, etc? I bought a book with example essays...thought of doing like that. Thanks!

famu was a great school. It really prepared me for the real world and and the professors really care about the students. The administration is a working progress, but the new President has the University on the rise. I recommend it to anyone!! Not to mention the tution is really cheap.

Hi there. Concrats on the schools you have been accepted to so far. In florida the only way to become a resident is to work 1 yr and have a bill in your name for that time frame. You also have to purchase a fl DL. Have you decided on a school yet?

Have you decided on where you will go? Hey, Beast...do out of towners qualify for in-state tuition after the first year?

CAGIRL, that post signed "give up" is pure BS. The guy can't even spell properly! The truth is, don't give up. Be persistent and you will prevail. It's a great accomplishment that you've gotten only acceptances and waitlists with a 140 and no rejections. So don't let anyone rain on your parade! Cheers.

Good luck with your testmasters course and with your cycle! I\'m sure that you will have an even better cycle. Please keep in touch and let me know how your cycle turns out (and where you\'ll be attending law school)!
