Hey! I feel your pain with the waiting FOREVER! I have kind of a silly question...did your UMN status checker just change to decision sent today and it came? (I'm at home for the holidays and my letters are being sent to my apt 3 hrs away at school and I'm not sure if i should ask my BF to go ck the mail today or tomorrow haha) thanks! and goodluck with LIFE!

each day i doubt myself more and force myself to spend those long dull hours at work contemplating other careers (is it too late for academia? does the world need antoher chef?). im disappointed because i thought that this would be THE WEEK, with a slew of notices. instead, there is dead silence and that much more time for applicants more qualified than me to get a foot in the door. this is madness! i applied 3 months ago!!! ahhhhh... haha i hope you are fairing better :) whatever the case, im sure in just a few months we will look back and laugh at ourselves.

Hey dude, are you fighting for those two waitlists. I'm flying to Boston and LA in the next couple weeks. You can handle those two schools in one trip. FIGHT dude.

Yes. Interview if you can. They take kids off the waitlist who they think will go to their school. Nothing they hate more than a withdrawing from a WL'er. Fly out. Show your interested. It won't hurt unless your not a good interviewer.

I predict you will get into WashU and Emory! (and hopefully I will too) :) keep your head up we all know this stupid process sucks!

Dude. I think you need to strongly consider adding a few sure fire schools as we get close to deadlines. Ohio State? Alabama? Georgia? Boulder?

I'M GOING TO LAW SCHOOL. I am actually writing this from my temp office at my firm's LA office. I'm on the 42nd floor looking at the US bank building, the highest building west of the Missisippi. Just visited UCLA, went well.

Dude, if you were black, not only would you have been admitted into every single school, you would have been offered full rides. Be aggressive with your waitlists, don't just sit back!!

We're in a head to head competition now. Waitlisted at Notre Dame. This is one of those friends into rivals type deals. We need theme music.

I'm going to ohio state this afternoon for an ASW. If i like it you'll see atleast two of those WL with a big Withdraw next to them. The price difference for 5 in the rankings, not worth it. Plus I'm an ohio boy. Staying in ohio isn't a bad thing for me. I have connections, and in state tuition is AMAZING. So hopefully this weekend goes well.

If they give me some money your going to see lots of W's on my page. Esp if they give me their BIG scholarship, which pays me to go there

Yeah im gonna stick it out, i think the deposit deadline is fast approaching so Im hoping they start going to the waitlist soon. they seem to really be giong for high scores this year, i guess we picked a bad year to apply lol.

So, um... Any apartment shopping tips for Emory?
