Applied for the 2006-2007 cycle with the lower LSAT (was waitlisted at many of the above schools).

Had one really crappy semester. GPA difference from Degree GPA is due to a Pass/Fail F.

OCT 19: Got my new LSAT (173), and now need to polish the PS and send in the applications. My goal is to have somewhere around the beginning of the month.

NOV 1-3: Great visit to Chicago.

NOV 6: First Application submitted.

NOV 10: Wrote a Why Penn? w/ my application.

NOV 14: My first "Complete" application. I must have done something right.
NOV 14: Sent in Michigan application w/ Why Michigan essay.

DEC 21: Got a call from Ann Perry today around 12 CST. I'm getting to work on the withdrawals today.

DEC 30: Chicago!

So you're my competition, eh? I'm tentatively confident about the ED app to Chicago. According to this site, we should both have a pretty good chance. Here's hoping.

Did you submit an addendum for your Pass/Fail F, or otherwise explain it?

On Chicago. I'm terribly jealous, although I didn't go the ED route. Hope to see you at the ASW!

Did you also apply Chicago ED with your 169? I'm strongly considering retaking before reapplying.

Hey, I noticed you applied last year, & retook to apply this year--funny, because I applied for the first time this cycle, but due to work, probably will postpone for another year. The plan being to retake & then reapply. Quick question: if my Rec's are still on file with LSAC, I can reuse them, correct? Additionally, how significantly did you revamp your PS? I may be apply to a couple of the same schools, but primarily new ones. BTW, great user name.
