12/6/07 - Acceptance Letter from U Maryland. Letter dated 12/5/07. At least now I can stop thinking about sending more apps.
12/8/07 - Large envelope from UMd with housing and laptop info. Has anyone gotten any scholarship info from them?
12/12/07 - USPS Priority Mail Envelope with letter and other info (no financial aid). USPS date is 12/11/07 and the date on the letter is 12/10/07.
12/15/07 - Big Envelope from Temple with a 12G per year scholarship.
12/19/07 - Letter from Fordham saying that I've gone onto 2nd evaluation...basically means I'm deferred.
01-24-08 - Big Envelope from Lewis & Clark with a 14G per year scholarship.
01-24-08 - Waitlist letter for Cardozo.
01/31/08 - Bc nad UVA stink!
02/22/08 - Checked Duke status checker and it seems they made a decision on the 20th. Nothing in the mail today.

I know.. I see we have applied to many of the same schools. My LSDAS GPA is what the LSAC calculated my GPA to be taking into consideration all schools attended. My degree GPA is just based off the final University I attended according to the LSAC (I transfered a few times) Of course my GPA for each are actually slightly higher. (both of these numbers are found on your LSAC report that are sent to each law school.. check it out!) Good luck with your application cycle...

They sent me an email that my application had been processed and was under review. I had all my stuff in and ready when I sent them the app, which might account for the relatively quick turnaround. Good luck with your cycle...looks like you've got a good mix of schools on your list!

I did a lot of volunteer work, studied abroad, a community development fellowship and a community development internship. I also participated in a few orgs on campus. Good luck with Duke and the rest of your schools!
