yeah that part of the country is really beautiful. hopefully you will get one of your top choices :) i'm going to visit tech in about 2 weeks. i've lived in a big city all my life, so i'm not sure how i'd handle living in lubbock for 3 years. we'll see though... from what i've seen so far, i really like the school. as far as my top choice though, i'm not really sure yet. i'm still waiting to get final decisions from quite a few of my schools (most of which i'm sure will be rejections, but o well) so i'm kind of waiting it out a bit longer until i choose a favorite. i dont want to get my heart set on a particular school and then get turned down. what are your thoughts on LBK?

wow thanks for all your advice! ESP about housing!! i'm pretty worried about that aspect of lubbock. are there any places near the law school that you think would make for suitable living for a non-undergrad? if i do end up at ttu, i will def be sure to get some recommendations from you before committing anywhere ;) i'm in the DFW area as well, finishing up undergrad. absolutely LOVE it, and am going to have a hard time leaving.

I'm sorry to hear about the WL-- don't worry, if i w/draw, i'll let you know, but to be honest ,it's not likely-- the school seems amazing. But dude, I have faith you'll get off the WL :-) you can do it!

For the life of me, I can't decide. I'm visiting both to figure it out.

hey! i'm going to the accepted students day as well! hopefully i'll get a chance to meet you!! (although that sounds semi-creepy seeing as we've only ever conversed over the internet. o well haha) are you going to bring a "guest" or go alone?? i was planning on just going by myself, but i don't want to be the awkward loner girl, ya know?
