Thanks. I hope you are right about the $$, since I'd probably end up working in public interest law LOL. Good luck!

i applied thru LEOP too! and i also did the binding early commitment thing that they have. i think we have pretty decent chances... our lsats scores arent the best, but theyre still good and our gpas show that we can do well in school, so hopefully theyll take that into account. i know its not a sure thing and im definitely not getting my hopes up (although i did kinda go on craigslist and check out apartments in the area!) but i feel pretty ok about it. and if i dont get in, its ok cus i have santa clara as a safety to fall back on, and im really starting to like that place more and more as the days go by. davis is great too, although i think itd be a lot more difficult to get into than hastings... and im not too excited about the location either. but i wouldnt say no to them if they accepted me!

thanks!

yea i love the SCU campus and the whole san jose/santa clara area in general. its a great place and i can definitely see myself being happy going there. but im still holding out for hastings!

Thanks for the congrats... Hastings is my dream school as well. I pulled off a miracle to get in. I hope you get in as well. ED should help, but they seem to be a little strict on the LSAT score vs. high GPA. I feel like its a numbers game but I definitely can see you getting in if you used your expansive background to your advantage in the personal statement. I also used a second language to buoy my essay. GOOD LUCK!!! btw - what makes you want to go to Hastings? what if you got into Boalt AND Hastings?

interesting...
