3-13-07 - FIU Complete and in Committee!!! (Another Long shot)

3-14-07- Nova Complete, Just waiting to Process my LSDAS Report

3-14-07 - St. Thomas Complete

3-16-07- Stetson and Barry are complete and I was told that I would be going to Committee in Barry today and Stetson in a couple of days....

3-18-07- Received Email from Dean of Florida Coastal letting me know that I was Wait-listed... I was kind of upset, because I thought I would get in, but I will wait it out....

3-22-07 Nova emailed me letting me know that my Feb LSAT report was processed...

3-22-07 Stetson emailed me letting me know that I am going to committee...

3-26-07-Currently in the hands of Nova Committee Members- This is my #1 School- I am hoping and praying that I get accepted into the regular program

3-29-07- Waitlisted at Barry. Really Upset because I realized that I will probably be waitlisted everywhere because I took the Feb. LSAT. :(

4-2-07- Rejected at Stetson. Not too surprised.

4-16-07- In @ Cooley. They want an answer in 10 days! I really want to wait for all of the other schools before making any decision. Really pulling for Nova.

04-23-07- Waitlisted at St. Thomas. AHHHHHH

4-28-07- In at Coastal!! Received an email from Director of Admissions letting me know my official letter will be sent out on Monday... Very happy

5-3-07- Denied at FSU. Who saw that one coming?

5-9-7- Deferred at FIU! I guess we'll see what happens.

07-37-07- In at Nova PT. Unless FIU comes through, I am Nova Bound.

I received an acceptance letter from them in a small white envelope and a request of a decision by April 15. Do not be alarmed if you open the mailbox and you receive a small envelope rather than a large thick one.

I do not know for sure but my e-mail (I have yet to receive a paper conformation of being waitlisted) indicated that they were attempting to fill up their class by the end of April. I assume as deadlines for seat deposits come due you/we will begin to hear back from those schools we were waitlisted at. I am waiting to see what happens with my application at NOVA since they were my number one choice; if I am accepted there I plan on asking to have my name removed from the waitlist and then making a decision between ST. Thomas and them. I will let you know since one less person on a waitlist increases the odds of acceptance.

It took about a month for a decision, but I missed their seat deposit deadline. Do you know how strict schools are aout seat deposit deadlines?..... ? about FIU: I applied via LSAC on 4/9 and they haven't even requested my file yet...how long did yours take?

Hi. Are you planning on going through the AAMPLE program or be admitted directly? I am not sure if they are still giving out invitations for AAMPLE. they sent mine out late in March and I paid my seat deposit in early April. There are alot of administrative things that need to be done before the start of the program which starts May 2 for orientation and May 9 for courses. I hope it all owrks out for you. Have you submitted your refundable deat deposit for Cooley? I did, just in case.

Hi again. Sorry for the dumb question. I didn't state it the way I intended. =) Anyhoo, I suggest that you write them an email stating your continued interest in the school. Your stats seem to be good enough. It looks like your LSDAS report held up your app. I hope you get accepted. it's been a month since your app went complete so I think it's a good sign. I wish you the best. It looks like you still have some more pending apps, which is a good thing bc out of those, one is bound to be an acceptance letter. I would be surprised if they don't accept you. If you're young (meaning, fresh out of UG), you could always apply for the next cycle and build up your resume with extracurriculars or work for a law firm & apply earlier. It's hard to predict what the adcomms are going to be doing... if you're an urm, it might help if they need to fill their quota. Don't stress bc it's out of your hands now and you really can't do much at this point, except write that letter of continued interest. Talk soon & best of luck =)
