I am going to describe why my grades were great my freshman and senior years while taking a plunge my sophomore and junior years (major family issues.) I think a few paragraphs ending with how my senior year was a huge improvement and how successful I have been with my current job after graduation should help.... however much help an addendum provides in the numbers game. What are your plans for the addendum?

You and I have a similar GPA. I'm applying to UF, too...I wonder how forgiving they are of a poor GPA with good LSAT score? Good luck in December, I'm sure you'll do great. You seem to have great soft factors.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I hadn't logged in to LSN in a good long while. I definitely think having a focus on a particular area can be helpful. Certainly my apps showed a consistent theme from work experience to undergrad ed to outside experience. It all pointed to someone well suited for media law. Shoot me an e-mail if you want to chat. And good luck on your Dec. LSAT!

I have no idea when we'll hear back, but the fact that they haven't rejected us yet might be a good thing. Most people who applied around me have already heard back one way or the other. The school was very clear in their email about not contacting them for an update on the status of an application, so I'm just going to continue waiting I guess. I've also noticed that Colorado waitlists more applicants than any other school I've seen. Any idea why?

I just called the admissions office, and my decision was mailed today, so I should know on Saturday, or Monday at the latest where I stand.

Thanks! They sent the letter and info to my permanent address and then sent me a copy via email. I haven't decided yet, but Boulder is a good place to be. Good luck!

i heard by email from UNC and regular mail from CU. i think you will get into both with your numbers. you have a lot of public state schools... is UNC or CU one of your top choices?

Congratulations on all of your acceptances! I see that you\'re waitlisted at some great schools. Could you ask the U of Conn admission committee to get you off the list the first instance that you decide to enroll at other school, for the sake of other waitlisted applicants at UConn? Thank you in advance

I don\'t mean to be rude or anything. All I\'m saying is with a condition of \'if in case you decide to\'. Hope no misunderstand there. :) Congrats! :)
