I know how you feel about your wife, and I respect your decisions. But please, as a pricey lark, apply to NYU and Columbia. NYU both are known to offer generous financial aid to compelling candidates with high gpas... don't shut out a potential opportunity :)
and by high GPA I mean "lsat" of course.
