ADDITIONAL INFO & UPDATES

My dad died when I was in college, affected many things, not least of which GPA.

11/25/08 In at Michigan! Got the letter even before I got an email with my status checker. Kinda weird but I don't care because

I'M IN AT MICHIGAN!

Need to withdraw everywhere else... but I did really want to see the letter from Chicago. Is that wrong?

You too. I hope you get your early decision at Michigan. Glad to see you've recovered too. I hear an ice-pick to the head can be a bummer...

I know how you feel about your wife, and I respect your decisions. But please, as a pricey lark, apply to NYU and Columbia. NYU both are known to offer generous financial aid to compelling candidates with high gpas... don't shut out a potential opportunity :)
