Additional info & updates

Dates listed for sent/complete are approximate. I submitted applications during the last week of September and went complete in the first week or two of October. I'll try to be a little more specific with decisions.

11/07 - Georgetown - Everyone says it, but it is really nice to get your first acceptance and know that you have somewhere to go. Small white envelope.

11/26 - Minnesota - I got an email telling me that I had been accepted. Apparently they tried calling, but the call didn't go through.

12/23 - Cornell - Status check went to decision. Just like some other applicants, I had the admitted students discussion forum link.

12/28 - NYU - Found a sexy purple envelope stuck in my mailbox. NYU was one of my top three choices... ecstatic.

Thanks! I am pretty excited about Ann Arbor. With your LSAT, you should have an amazing cycle. (Damn 174ers...ha)

thanks! goo job on getting your apps in so early - that must feel so nice... I meant to get mine in as soon as my Oct lsat score came back, but it was hard to motivate after giving 4 months of my life to the lsat. good luck, numbers twin! congrats on gtown & minn! do you have a top choice right now?

Probably Stanford b/c of the QOL & family in Cali (bf, sis, and dad), but if somehow Yale let me in I'd have to think for a lonnnngggg time haha

But how is using the phrase "solid as a rock" going to help people forget we built houses IN Iraq? I miss arrested development.

Thanks

Thanks for the encouragement... I know I'll have some very good schools to choose from by the time this whole wild ride is over, but it just stings a little bit to start the cycle out with a rejection, y'know? Ahh, but such is the peril of applying ED to a big reach... Congratulations on Georgetown and Minnesota!

Congratulations on NYU!

Thanks for the wishes, and congrats on all those acceptances! I wish I had my crap together as early as you did. Where do you think you'll go, could money sway your decision? :)

Congrats!

Congrats on your acceptances so far! I have VERY similar numbers and wish I had gotten my stuff out as quickly as you.

Are you looking to stay in the area? Columbia and NYU are my top choices because of that. After four years away from home it'd be nice to be close to family.
