Thanks! Congratulations to you too:) I love the fact that almost all the stress is gone from this whole application process. If nothing else, we can always go to Harvard.

Congrats to you too. So are you sold on Harvard, or holding out for Yale?

Yeah, I guess its just a waiting game with Yale now. Somehow I'm not all that hopeful, what with not being a minority or a nobel prize winner or anything...

Congrats on your acceptances so far, I'm sure more are on the way. And yes, I know my wall is totally neurotic. Writing down every inane detail actually makes me much more sane in real life though. Or maybe that's just what I'd like to think.

I'm leaning pretty heavily towards Yale. Spoke with a few students from both schools and got really good vibes from the Yale bunch. Not sure if I'll be able to visit (I work abroad), so I might be making this decision somewhat blindly.

there's too much to begin to describe. they painted an awesome, awesome picture. it's like being charlie from the willy wonka flick. you get a golden ticket, essentially. but in all seriousness, they just had fantastic things to say about students, faculty, opportunities, and even new haven, which i have heard from yale law and ugrad students is a good place to be these days (the trash talk is apparently unmerited unless you need a place like boston or nyc). -shnocker

It was a legit waitlist email, but I also received the "sorry it's taking so long" email. I didn't do a "Why Michigan?" essay, so maybe that's it. Who knows.
