ADDITIONAL INFO & UPDATES

January 29, 2008 - Just found this site the other day. Apparently I'm extremely out of the loop.

Obviously the Washington U. scholarship was huge.

Visited Wash U. this past weekend. It was great.

January 30 - Just got an e-mail notifying me of about a 2/3 scholarship to W&L. I'm hopefully going to visit there at the end of February, but it's looking more and more like Wash U is going to be my home for the next 3 years, which I'm very happy about.

February 11 - Rejected from Yale. Obviously not a surprise. Thinnest white envelope I've ever seen, but, hey, at least I got some Yale letterhead. Harvard just sent me an e-mail... bastards.

February 21 - Just went to decision at Duke. Oh, Anticipation, we've become so close these last few months...

February 25 - Rejected from Duke. Just 4 more to go.

March 3 - Rejected from NYU. It's been quite a while since I've gotten any good news. Sure could use some.

March 17 - Rejected from USC. I'm beginning to forget what acceptances look like.

March 24 - Placed on "reserve" at Cornell. Bad news - I get to wait about another two months before I hear something else. Good news - not rejected or put on the waitlist........yet.

March 27 - Vanderbilt decision on the way! 6 months of waiting is coming to an end. Whatever the decision is, I'm happy for the closure.

March 31 - Waitlisted at Vandy. 6 months of waiting to find out that I get to do more waiting. Thanks for that. Good to have that issue behind me.

Congrats on all of your acceptances and scholarships this cycle. Can you tell me about your experience at Wash U this past weekend?

Thanks! I really hope I get a chance to on 2/22 or 3/28! I talked to the admissions ppl today and they said that my acceptance pack was returned to them so they sent a copy to my permanent address and are going to send another to my current address. I almost asked could I pay for it to be overnighted, I am so anxious!

Hi there, when Loyola accepted you, was your 81K scholarship merit based? or is it an outright offer? Thanks for your time.
