On the ride at WUSTL! Did you call up Duke or UT to see if they'd pony up something as well? WUSTL is a great school and I'm sure you're going to be in great shape there, especially with virtually no debt!

Thanks! If you don't mind my asking, how were you so sure about wustl that you picked it without visiting the other top schools, like duke? Or did you visit? Wustl was not one of my top choices, but the $$ is super tempting.

So, I'm pretty sure you're the only other person on here who's said they're definitely going to WUSTL. I'm 99.9% sure i'll be there next year. I went to the admitted students day in Jan and absolutely loved it. So, you know just saying hello.
So do you go to tulane? just says private and new orleans, so just taking a wild guess. I actually saw that the c/o 2010 at wustl made a facebook group pretty early on so they could start getting to know each other before they got to school, so i got bored, and did the same. It's just "Washington University School of Law class of 2011" It's just me right now, kind of lonely...
I actually have a bunch of friends who went/go to Tulane. But, ya, Chapel Hill has been wonderful. I'm ridiculously excited about St. Louis though. How long have you been out of school?

Thanks for your congrats--looks like you're doing pretty well yourself! :-) At the moment, UVA is my top choice, with Vandy as my second choice. I'm planning on doing IP law, and both schools have pretty good offerings in that area: in addition to curricular offerings, UVA has a patent clinic and Vandy has a law and technology journal. I'm still waiting to hear about money from UVA, though. Any money at all from them and you'll probably see an "A" next to UVA in my LSN. Full-price UVA vs. 1/2 price Vandy would be a more difficult choice, especially with my connections to the Nashville area. I've decided that I'm probably not going to ride the Duke/Michigan waitlists for too long. If they let me in before UVA's deposit deadline, they'll be back in contention, but I really like Charlottesville. I don't think I'd be willing to pay sticker price anywhere else.
