Little surprised UF wasn't at least a waitlist.
Thinking I could have pulled Tulane off if I applied in the fall.

Have you not taken the LSAT yet, or are you just not sharing?

Thursday, September 13 2007 at 12:08 PM

I think you're supposed to put the GPA reported on your LSDAS report on LSAC's website. For me, since my GPA was converted from quarter to semesters, it went down from the GPA I actually earned at my degree granting institution.

I just took the LSAT in Sept at UF, too. Whoa, saying the games were rough was right. Good luck and here's to a very lenient scale!

Saturday, October 20 2007 at 07:35 AM

Good luck, this process just started and the waiting is already starting to annoy me. I am just ready for some kind of responce from the schools.

Saturday, October 20 2007 at 11:21 AM

Yaaay! I agree about the scale. It wasn't overly generous but at least it wasn't as bad as June's, right? Congrats on your score. Hope you get lots of big fat envelopes. :-)

Complete, huh? Great deal. Hopefully they will start sending out some acceptances soon. Best of luck to you.

Waiting for LOR

waiting for another LOR, let me know when you hear from them

Monday, December 03 2007 at 10:17 AM

Congrats on Miami!!!!

So true!!!
Friday, December 07 2007 at 02:33 PM

I know, UF is really behind this year. This time last year they had accepted way more people and for sure more lower index people. They've mostly only accepted 5.8+ indexes as of now! It looks like it will be a long wait for us 5.7ers. Anyway, best of luck. I hope we hear soon.

hey's meg. congrats on miami law. i'm stalking you on here because i'm starting to flip out myself...this waiting is way too much. best of luck with everything and i'll keep checking up to see how things are going for you :)

Thursday, December 13 2007 at 08:06 PM

Not a total loss at all but I am sure my chances are not good but hell, I knew that when I was applying. Still it leaves me with some hope and thats all I can ask. Good luck w/ your schools. Maybe we will end up at the same place in the Fall.

Numbers Twin
Saturday, December 15 2007 at 04:44 PM

Hey, we are really similiar. Good call on Miami as a solid safety. I think we are both 50/50 at Florida and Marlyand/Wake are both sound reaches. For Fordham PT though, I think we're both on the wrong side of 160. You really should take the Feb LSAT, it can only help. Unfortunately I'm in a remote location oveseas and I could only take the LSAT once and I just have to go with the score I got. Good luck to you!

U Iowa

Iowa is a GOOD school and very reach-able with your numbers.

thanks, morse! i appreciate your post. i am sure that you have many more acceptances coming your way, as well. i still have my figures crossed for's killing me. have a merry christmas and hopefully we will have some big envelopes waiting when we get back to school :)

Smo, after calculating cost of living, books, food, entertainment (Cro bar aint cheap), tuition, etc..., Id be better off taking out a loan for 200k and investing in a high risk/reward piece of real estate and riding it out then going to the U.

Tuesday, February 19 2008 at 10:22 AM

Thank you! I'm sure you'll be hearing from them soon, good luck! What are you top choices, you are applying to some great schools. Let me know if you decide to become a gator (unless you already are one from UG :)

Arizona State

Damn for where they are ranked they are denying some solid candidates. "Many of us crucify ourselves between two thieves - regret for the past and fear of the future." Plus im sure someone out there is pretty happy that your not taking up one of Novas 90k schollies.

Friday, February 29 2008 at 10:55 AM

Good luck with American. I saw that you went complete today too. We applied around the same time so hopefully we will both be hearing sooner rather than later.

Thanks! I'm leaning heavily towards going...I'm going up to the ASD on the 4th and am expecting to turn in my tuition deposit then.

Soft Factors
Wednesday, March 19 2008 at 09:52 PM

Did you have really good soft factors? Wake Forest is my dream school.

Saturday, March 22 2008 at 11:01 PM

Thanks a lot. lol at pale, I know how you feel. I am pretty sure the letter is in the mail, it just sucks that sunday is a "no mail day".

Monday, March 24 2008 at 01:31 PM

Thanks. I really did not expect to get in since Im from out of state and my numbers arent that great. Im probably gonna withdraw from UF as its not one of my top choices so hopefully I will increase your chances if you do in fact get waitlisted but you should get in. Good Luck!

Me, too
Tuesday, March 25 2008 at 08:57 AM

Don't feel bad. I just got rejected at UF, too....with a 5.7 index. You aren't alone.

Monday, April 14 2008 at 06:30 AM

Got the Tulane reject... suprised to see in the letter how many transfer in after 1L.
