11/25/07: UT emails me a residency questionnaire. Apparently my residency is under scrutiny. Nervous.

11/29/07: In at GULC by mail. I'm going to law school!

12/15/07: Thin envelope from UT in the mail. My first rejection. I probably wouldn't have gone there anyway, but it still hurts a little.

1/10/08: WL at UCLA. I never even when complete there. I'll take it, though. I was expecting outright rejection.

1/23/08: Went to decision at Vandy. Oh pretty pretty please

1/25/08: Accepted at LMU. Big packet in the mail. Nice to be wanted somewhere again. Not exactly the highest ranked school I applied to, but I would LOVE to go back to LA

1/26/08: WL from Vandy. This one kind of hurts. I really liked them.

2/5/08: In at Wake! Thin priority mail packet.

2/19/08: In at Hastings. Small white envelope slightly thicker than a rejection. Totally thought I was WL'd till I actually read the letter. 7 down;, 6 to go.

2/27/08: Inevitable Columbia rejection arrived. Good thing I hate the cold anyway.

3/18/08: UVA acceptance arrived completely out of the blue. No status update. No email. No nothing. Still in shock. But HELL YEAH, IN AT UVA!!!!

3/19/08: VM from Emory saying they had some questions about my application. Called back and left vm but never heard back from them. hmm...
WL from W&M in the mail. meh. I'll be withdrawing.

3/24/08: Rejected from USC. Honestly, I was a little surprised, but it's all good. I really didn't need the temptation to pick them over UVA just to be back in LA. Also had a status checker change w/ no email from Duke. Looks like I'll be getting no love from the alma mater, but again, who cares? Unless things don't go well at the ASW this weekend, I'm Charlottesville-bound!

3/26/08: Duke ding finally arrived. whatever.

on Georgetown. Good to see that they didn't penalize you in any way for being somewhat of a splitter...but with BME/EE, I can understand!!! Best of luck with the rest of your apps.

I can't believe i'm about to say something nice to a dookie! but, sorry about Texas, but you said it right, if you're into georgetown, and i'm into WUSTl, do we REALLY care about texas? They're just trying too hard to be michigan or uva anyway.

Thanks for sending the comment, because now i really don't feel bad at all. I actually have a 170, but i mean, if an instate girl coudln't get in with my GPA and a 172, i didn't really have much of a shot. you still in the triangle area?
