It really depends on what school you are referring to. It took FSU about 7 days to get back to me, and others take forever - depends on the volume of the applications received by the school at that given time. I am waiting on a few of the same schools - will keep you posted - GOOD LUCK!

No, they did not send any scholarship info with the e-mail. They indicated that a formal letter would be sent in December along with scholarship information in January I believe.

Email was sent on the 20th and then I got in on the 26th, but from looking at lsn, people generally got complete earlier then I did (took more than a month for me).

They sent me an e-mail on October 29th saying it was complete and under review. The decision came on November 20th

My cycle is going much better than last time I applied. That's for sure! I don't have a number one so to speak. I would love to get into any one of the top 14 schools (the ones I applied to rock!), and I'll obviously go to them even if I receive no money from them. However, I'd also be happy if I don't get into them. I have good options. For the other schools, money is of course going to be a deciding factor. Take care.

I got my letter from USD today!!! I thought it was odd too, as I got the same type of large envelope today (i.e., the financial aid letter saying I'm accepted). Am I reading it wrong, or does it seem that they do not give scholarship offers until after we're done their own forms and the FAFSA? They seem to do it much differently than other schools. I may call them and see what's up.

Thanks for your post. Way to go on your acceptances. Your early decision at UNLV might have a little something to do with your outstanding #s. I got waitlisted last year, so I am mentally prepared for a long wait..........

Nothing at all from WUSL except the completion email a while ago. I am surprised too but I guess I just have to stay in suspense and wait this one out! I hate this process and will be so glad when it is over! PLEASE GIVE ME A T1 ACCEPTANCE BEFORE XMAS!!!

I'm seriously considering UNLV. What are your thoughts on the school? I'm concerned about how young the school is and how that will affect job prospects.

Haven't heard anything yet. I was hoping that getting my app in early this year might make a difference but oh well. Hoping not to get put on the waitlist again only to receive a rejection. I really want to get in this year since tution is going up in steps over the next couple of years.

Thanks for the info! Although I was initially put off by the tuition increase I find myself becoming more excited about UNLV every day. According to the US Dept. of labor*, Nevada has the highest expected percentage increase in demand for attorneys of all the 50 states AND UNLV is only graduating ~110 students a year to fill the ~270 anticipated job openings. Furthermore, the median salary for Nevada attorneys is above the national median. And yet another reason why I like UNLV is that the weather is fantastic and I really like the southwest home/living style. I dont think Ill make it to the open house this Friday because Im extremely busy at this week. Hey, how was the open house? So, I got accepted to the U of Utah last week and decided to withdraw from UNLV. It's kind of a bummer because I was so psyched on it but I can't justify going there over the U with the tuition increase. Anyways, congrats on getting into UNLV and congrats on your scholarship!! Good luck at law school this fall, though it looks like you have a history of creating good academic luck for yourself! ;)

Hey, thanks for the congrats but I withdrew today. I am sure you will do great. I really liked the prospects of UNLV but I can't turn down UF's cost. Good luck in the future and try to get a scholarship from UNLV-who knows, it might work :)

Didn't really get any new info, just took a tour and met some faculty. I think they were trying to sell undecided admitees, no pitch needed for me. The new moot court building is great :)
