-graduated Magna Cum Laude in UNLV
-Dean's List all semesters
-Department Honors Scholar
-member of Golden Key Honors society
-wrote undergrad thesis on the value created by the mergers and acquisitions in the casino industry, received a letter grade of A and is pending to be published
-LOR's from 2 finance professor who assisted me on the thesis, LOR from Director of Gaming Research in UNLV, LOR from UNLV Dean of Honors College
-worked full time as an underwriter during college
-currently Securities Lending Trader, head of international settlements area (Europe and Asia), very knowledgable on market acitivities
-also a CFA candidate
-also came from another country (Philippines) not sure if that classifies as URM

-also a Nevada resident and applied part-time, this may have helped in UNLV application.

4/12/06 - what is taking UNLV so long!!!!!!

4/15/06- got acceptance letter from UNLV on an 8x11 envelope

when I received my acceptance they have a deadline of April 28, 2006 for the seat deposit and reserve so I guess with this date you can gauge what decision you will get.

Thanks for the note! I LOVE UNLV's programs, but I've never been to Vegas. Do you love it? We're both pretty similar in numbers...I think a perfect fit for PT. I'll keep my fingers crossed! Hope we hear soon.

Congradulations on your acceptance. I applied to Boyd as well, for the full-time program. I am still anxiously waiting. It is killing me, everday I rush home to check my mailbox and alas every day I have been disappointed. I am worried about my LSAT, but seeing your profile gives me a little bit of hope. Congradulations again.

I have been watching your profile, since I knew you wanted to attend UNLV so much. Ihave also been accepted PT here and I am 99.9% sure I will be attending. I am amditted to the evening program. You? Anyway., I am so happy for you. I think UNLV has an excellent program and seems very community oriented. The people I've met from these (admin, alum, and students) have been extremely helpful.
