quick question... did you apply to any of the same schools as last year? if so, did you change your app significantly?
yeah I did, last year was really bad for me, I actually got waitlisted at hastings, santa clara, and u of san diego, didn't get into any, all I can say I changed is I wrote an addendum for my foreign grades and my essay was way better other than that virtually nothing changed, schools that wait listed me last year are offering me scholarships so it's pretty weird, oh i did apply first time around at 21 so that may have worked against me
Hey, when did you send in your application to loyola? I sent mine in on x-mas day, and it seems a lot of people got acceptances last week. Why did you not like loyola after you went to visit it? Is it really ugly? It's only one building in the middle of trashy downtown los angeles right? well goodluck w/ your schools..i hear that american has just sent out their acceptances also...would you go to american over northeastern and loyola? i'm from los angeles suburbs, so i'm not sure i want to be 'so close to home'...i applied to some boston schools also! okay keep me posted!

Hey just got a really little envelope, two sheets or paper, have to respond by March 16th which is a bit insane
Hi Allison, I believe that the reason you got rejected last year is that the job market was not that good and more people we applying to law school. Unless you had a big screw up on your applications, I see no other reason besides the job market.
Can I ask what your decision was regarding UH?
I heard from San Diego late last week (2/10, maybe). I know exactly what you mean about wanting to know the options...and boston is an awesome city--except that it tends to get a bit colder than SoCal.
