Hey about Loyola I just got my acceptance on Saturday, took forever, just got a little letter, two pages, went and visited on Monday, have to say I was excited when I got in and now that I've visited I'm mixed, good luck we applied to a lot of the same schools
And I would even predict GW. Good luck. And seriously, who wants to go to Notre Dame?
Not that I'm one of those bitter white guys who blaims everone of his problems on reverse discrimination or anything, but I surely thought GW would bite on your URM status. The GPA isn't anything to scoff at either. Good luck on UCLA and Penn, but I've been told Penn eats up high LSATs (which is why I stayed away). At least you're in your #2 school to this point.
congrats on your cool acceptances. i don't know if anyone else is going to offer me money! i'm alternately optimistic and resigned about money and about future acceptances. this process is so full of uncertainty.
when was the letter dated? And, when did your status change online? thank you!
I never checked the online thing except for the day I got the letter, and it was like "we have your junk about to process" or something. I think the letter was actually dated around March 9th, which is weird since I didn't get it until March 19th. Sorry I couldn't be of more help! Goodluck on loyola though!
Are you thinking about going to BC?
I am getting really excited about BC. I would only think of not goin there if I got into Northwestern (haha!).... so it looks like I will be in Newton this fall. I have heard really great things about the school and the students. You can email me if you want to chat (I am originally from Boston anyways, so I know my way around the neighborhood).

Congrats! Haven't decided myself on law schools though considering similar schools as you. Good luck on your decision making--UCD is an awesome school--and considering your California ties, that may be ideal--particularly (no offense to BC) but unless you're in the top 15 schools or so, it tends to all be regional (and UCD will take you farther in Cali). I also saw on LSN you actually are considering USC (pot'lly?)--go for it (even better)! I have heard rave reviews--from being strong academically to even being a fun place to go to school. Definitely, they'll take care of you quite well--and have a very loyal alumni base and placement in top law firms. Good luck and let us know how it goes!
I'm not sure, but I hear USC's waitlist may be moving--if so, good luck! Awesome school.
