Additional info & updates

Hey guys...kind of new to this whole thing, so I figure I'd see what everyone has to say. Comments are more than welcome, especially since you all probably know more about this than I do...so...whattaya think?

UPDATE

So, two and a half weeks before Thanksgiving I get a call from Harvard Law. It was a phone interview with the Assistant Dean of Admissions. I personally thought it went pretty well. Rather informal.

And...the tuesday before Thanksgiving he calls back, welcoming me to the class of 2012!

It definitely is a wonderful way to start the cycle off, and makes any upcoming rejections a lot easier to handle.

12/22/08: Georgetown is holding my application; final decision as of 2/2/2009

So, more news has come in since I last updated. Two more acceptances, both to Virginia and Chicago.

Michigan emailed as well, letting me know they're holding my app like Georgetown.

I think you should consider going to Southwestern or Loyola. You're not quite Cal, UCLA, USC quality.

Don't listen to haters like jtdawson...you should be fine at those schools. Good luck!

Good luck with Georgetown! We have identical numbers and I wish you all the best :)

Here goes, your profile is great. GPA is good and LSAT is GREAT. You have a real good chance.. Also I applied for Georgetown & George Washington. Like Barack Obama, people love to hate, it's going to be that way sometimes, just fight though the adversity. Only you know what you're ready for.

Hey number neighbor

Thanks and congrats to you as well. Harvard is becoming my first choice, though I still need to see if I am accepted by their PhD program (I'm a dual degree applicant). How about you?
