First off, great name - second off, we're close to twins... and I'm very jealous of your UVA fee waiver! got washU, vandy and one from texas, but really want one from UVA - when/how did you get it? email? snail mail? anyways, best of luck

Congrats!

Congrats on Duke!

To echo the dude: How did you go about getting so many sweet fee waivers?

Numbers Twin!
Thursday, July 10 2008 at 08:00 PM

Seriously, we are EVERYTHING twins. I fudged my GPA down from a 3.62, and I've got three years of work behind me too. I think we also have all the same fee waivers. ; P I've never been in a a fraternity due to you know, not being a guy, but we've all got our things. Congrats on Duke! Where would you ultimately like to end up? And best of luck to you too!

<3 the Duke Fast-Track option, yeah?
Tuesday, February 26 2008 at 07:00 PM

Me too. Congratulations! Do you have a top choice? I wish all schools offered the 10-day turnaround. :)

Thursday, July 10 2008 at 08:00 PM

Same here, though I'm partial to Georgetown and Columbia because I have an obsession with huge cities. Let me know where you end up, and like I said before good luck!; though I'm sure you don't need it. :)

Undecided but Excited

Hi - Same. It's early in the cycle to try to predict where I'll end up. I have a preference for Northwestern bc of it's proximity to my family/friends. Michigan for similar reasons. I figure it'll be a package deal: acceptance, finances, family/friends, quality of life... This whole process has been truly eye-opening though. I might apply to a couple more just to have options...! Good luck to you, too! Surely, you're going to have plenty and plenty of choices to weigh in the upcoming months. Hoping you'll get in everywhere - including the White House...! :)

You too!

Thanks! Congrats to you too on Duke!! I love Duke.

Tuesday, May 13 2008 at 08:00 PM

congrats on duke!

possible reach
Thursday, September 04 2008 at 08:00 PM

yeah, i can getting ask if i'll send a prayer to harvard - i say "if i want to spend $75 for the end result of rejection I'll just go to a bar"... but i might do it anyways. grats big time on Duke. must be great to have an acceptance from a t-14 already!

Saturday, October 25 2008 at 08:00 PM

Dang man, Duke already! You make me feel like a slacker. ;) Good luck with the rest of them!

Congrats

Mr. President

Congrats!
Sunday, October 05 2008 at 08:00 PM

on the Presidency. You'd better "fix the economy" before we're done with law school.

This is a really belated response to your comment sent a month ago -- I'm not a transfer applicant, I ended up deciding to work for a year before re-applying to schools.

Wednesday, October 22 2008 at 08:00 PM

Congratulations on Duke!

Saturday, October 25 2008 at 08:00 PM

Good call on the username. Congrats so far on the acceptances.

Thanks! I was RD, so am kind of shocked to have heard back so soon...looks like you got your apps in not long after mine, and our numbers are really close, so hopefully good news for you won't be too far behind!

Sunday, August 17 2008 at 08:00 PM

Thanks! Congrats on Duke, UCLA, and Vandy!

Friday, July 25 2008 at 08:00 PM

Hey. sending you my softs? I don't think softs are transferable....Joking! I do have pretty decent softs, my PS is apprently pretty good, and my numbers are a bit fudged too. I will only have 1 year of WE by the time i enter law school. Looks like you're having a wonderful cycle! good luck!

If I'm not mistaken...
Thursday, August 07 2008 at 08:00 PM

Mr. Obama graduated from Harvard Law. Hmmmm....something tells me that's not your real name;-) Congrats on your fee waivers and acceptances. I think that you've eased my mind. I got a "decision" at Cornell too, but no link to the admitted students site. I guess that's a good indication that I'm not an admitted student. Well now I can sleep well. Congrats, again!

Tuesday, September 23 2008 at 08:00 PM

Congrats on all of your acceptances! This is an amazing cycle for you. Which school is your top choice to attend ? Great username by the way !

Sunday, September 21 2008 at 08:00 PM

thanks! sounds like you'll be expecting a few holiday acceptances yourself. good luck!

Thursday, November 22 2007 at 07:00 PM

If Barack Obama gets rejected at Stanford, what does that mean for the rest of us???

Thursday, November 22 2007 at 07:00 PM

Yeah, the Columbia and NYU graphs are a bit more depressing for me...a few more questions right on the LSAT would have done it. Oh well.

how come
Thursday, September 04 2008 at 08:00 PM

how come no one wants to be your commerce secretary? i'll do it! you got some nice LS choices to make too; leaning anywhere yet? anywhere in particular you waiting on?

HEY BARACK
Sunday, December 21 2008 at 07:00 PM

congrats on the Duke scholarship offer and your current acceptances. best of luck over the next few months!

Thursday, November 22 2007 at 07:00 PM

Are you considering taking the Duke scholarship? I got the same thing and got into most of the same schools as you, but I'm having a really tough time deciding, especially since Duke was not one of my top choices. It's basically down to Duke, UVA, and Michigan.

yeah...
Thursday, September 04 2008 at 08:00 PM

i kinda have to be leaning towards mich right now, huh? right now the top contenders are uva, mich and gtown. but other money offers (or good news from NYU or Berkeley) might change that...
