Congrats on Suffolk and NESL! I'm tempted to apply at Suffolk myself but probably won't. I feel your pain on boston college, we have almost identical stats so I'm expecting a similar result, but I can hope. Good luck with the rest of it!

i know it..

Suffolk looks really nice, and Boston is an amazing city (probably my favorite big city) so who knows, I might apply. Judging from where we are applying it looks like both of us were not deterred by our LSATSs and know we put in the collegiate work to merit a great law school... I'm hoping we can both land American and NU : ) My AIM is NOALink if you ever want to chat about law school stuff.

congratulations on your acceptances! did you receive your NESL merit scholarship separate from the acceptance packet? had you already applied for financial aid?

Northeastern

I'm still waiting for Northeastern too. What is taking so long? I am dying to know!

Top Choice

At this point what is your top choice?

NESL

I heard from NESL yesterday - rejection. Your decision must be coming soon. Good luck! I think I'm going to Suffolk.

oops

NESL

I am going to the last open house. Going to visit there and Suffolk. Never been to the Boston area, NYC is the only big city I lived in so hopefully Boston will give me some good vibes. Good luck with the waiting game, it sucks!

NESL vs Suffolk

Hey, if I had to pay for law school, i would choose which ever one gave me more $$$, which would put me at NESL.

NESL Open House

I see you posted that you were going to the NESL open house 03/30 did you attend? I attended and I was very disappointed. I actually withdrew right away. What did you think?

NESl

I personally felt like the students were all distruthful. I got a slacker vibe from everyone there. I think you should choose Suffolk. They just moved up to Tier 3 status and they are very generous with their financial aid packages. You just might get that 15K in the form of a grant which is what I got. Hey you never know.

wow SJU

Congrats on SJU. So they actually told you that you were in when you called them?!?!

more on NESL

Hey, I'm probably going to Northeastern... as long as I can arrange financing, but I have lots of positive things to say about NESL since my husband is a third year there and my best friend is a first year there. It is probably one of the friendliest environments for law students that exists, and beyond that, the teachers are extremely dedicated. Boston is a really nice location, too. Plus, if you want to go into a public interest field, it really helps to not be in debt to your eyeballs!
