Additional info & updates

(My profile dates are being funky, so the "sent" dates are general (within 2 weeks), but the "decision" dates are accurate)

9/16 - Was put on "Priority Reserve" for Duke. My own fault, I didn't take the time to write a "Why Duke?" Which now I find out is almost an automatic hold. So no real decision yet; apparently, they are going to review my file again later in the cycle. Still disappointed, it would have been nice to get an early decision to take the pressure off. (Note: Sent a Letter of Continued Interest/Why Duke in late October)

9/26 - Admitted at University of Tennessee! Feels good... Scholarship information to come at a later date...

10/13 - Admitted at the University of Alabama via phone call! The admissions packet will be sent out this coming Monday apparently.

10/15 - Admitted at the University of South Carolina through the mail

10/21 - Admitted to Baylor University!

11/09- After a long lag in applications...Admitted to the University of Texas! A very nice phone call, in which the Dean of Admissions stated that information/scholarship would follow via mail.

11/11- Admitted to Washington and Lee via Status Checker then an email confirming my admittance shortly after! Scholarship information is sent out on 1/14 so hopefully, I'll get good news a couple days later!

11/19- Admitted to Vanderbilt University! via giant FedEx box!

12/3 - Admitted to University of Illinois via email!

12/6 - Admitted to the University of Virginia! via email telling me to call... awesome!!

12/10 - Admitted to Wake Forest via email!

12/14 - Admitted to University of Georgia via status checker!

1/4 - Admitted to Georgia State University via status checker...admissions packet to follow

1/14 - Admitted to Colorado University - Boulder, scholarship information to come at a later date.

1/31- Admitted via status checker to SMU.

2/25 - Admitted to Emory University via package in the mail!

4/8 - After a long wait, rejected by Yale via email... it was a shot in the dark but my first (and only) rejection still sucks.

Here's to hoping we get scholarship offers from UVA (in my top 3) later on in the cycle. That seems to have happened a few times last year with relatively early admits (November/December) with similar numbers!

Great Cycle!

Hey, Where are you headed? I have to try next cycle, with some good WE. Attended any ASWs(?) to make your decisions earlier? Best of Luck with your future!

Congrats.

Great cycle. Looks like you have a lot of schools you need to withdraw from soon.
