Did you murder one of the NU Dean's children?

Much Respect But....

Hey man, I respect what you're saying, and for the most part your success or failure in life is determined by your work ethic, attitude, and drive. However, you have to ask yourself would you rather come out of law school making 40-60k or come out making 125k+? And if it isn't about the money, which I dont think it should be, the wiser career choice with more possibilities is a given. I hear what you're saying though, and I respect it. Outstanding numbers with a difficult course of study, you undoubtedly deserve the acceptances you have recieved.

Congrats

wow, glad to see a stellar #s non-prestige whore! total respect for having enough confidence to turn down the NYUs, Harvards, & Columbias to stay where you want to be. Wondering why not USC if sun is your thing. 50k probably wont' make a huge difference long run? Im considering Boston U vs. Loyola myself. I'm from Canada, so I worry about employment prospects since I'll need a visa. But if someone like you would take loyola, maybe i should consider it

Yep, leaning towards Loyola. Perhaps I'll see u there if u decide to go for LA. I think litigation/ADR is my main intention. IP is great but the best gigs seem to go to those with science/engineering backgrounds. SCU I turned down because their scholarship requires top 10-15% of class. Although I have the confidence, who knows what could happen. Anyways best of luck. San Diego seems amazing.

Congrats

on some great acceptances -- and it sounds like Cornell isn't really a strong option for you. If not, PLEASE withdraw, to help out the rest of us!! :)
