I'll be starting in spring. Hope to see you at Cal Western! I think you probably won't hear from them till January because they're getting the spring admissions finished first. It seems you changed your preference on Cal Western to #1? I think you'll have no problem. Anyhow, good luck during the rest of your admissions cycle, and I also hope to see you on campus. P.S. I think visiting the campus and meeting the admissions faculty might really help. :)

The school is small, but everyone there is so nice. I thought maybe everyone's just nice over the phone, but they're also very nice in person (security guards, admissions office, faculty, janitorial services). They all are very helpful, even when you don't ask. I was really surprised at the hospitality there. I think you'll have no problem getting in, and I think your visit will make you like the school even more. On the third floor of the library, you can see the ocean! How did your friend like Cal Western when he attended? By the way, how'd you do on the December LSAT? Did you feel good about it?

I have pretty much the same numbers and an almost identical application list so I'm rooting for you! I was a little late to get started on the LSAT so I have all my apps ready and waiting to send out after Dec LSAT scores come out. The wait is just about killing me!

I have been waiting impatiently for the mail and there was absolutely NOTHING in my mail today...not even junk mail! My next door neighbor had a large packet and I had the urge to chase him down! hahaha well good luck! Let me know!

I am curious why Cal Western is your #1? You have high enough scores to get in to a "higher" ranked schools. I am really interested in Cal Western, but I would probably attend USD if I got in. I am most interested in being in SD. Is there are particular reason for your interest in CWLS over USD?

They don't send out scholarship info right away : ( It said it will come in a couple weeks. I'm sure you are in! Maybe I will see you there! I am going to take a tour and attend an info session on their health law joint MA program. It seems pretty legit but I haven't visited yet so we will see. Maybe I will see you in August!

Are you going for sure?! I haven't visited yet, which I probably should do since it is literally 4 blocks from my work, but I would probably do the summer program if I decide to attend. Would you still attend over UNLV?

hey! i still check this every now and then just to see what's going on. i have some friends who are still concerned about where they're going for law school in the fall. plus, i also get occasional comments asking me what cal western is like. Let me just say, you made the right choice too! The school is really a great choice. Also, we're talking about the merger between us and UCSD... so maybe sometime while you're here, you will be a UCSD School of Law student. Isn't it exciting? :D Anyways, if you have any questions about teachers, etc, just e-mail me. You can also try and message me on facebook. Congrats on Cal Western!!!! I am hoping to hear from them here in the next couple of weeks. They are probably at the top of my list right now. Really excited at the prospect of living in San Diego. What do you think about the possible merger? I think it's sounds pretty awesome!

Hey, decision letter was mailed at Cal Western today!!! I will know very soon if I will be in SD! Did you ever visit the campus? If so, what'd you think?

I was notified via status checker. I have gathered from others that acceptances and rejections are mailed and just say decision mailed in the status checker. Good luck I am sure you won't have a problem. Oh waitlisted at Cal West. Umm no idea how that happened and am pretty shocked by it, but what can you do I guess.

Hey! Are you going to attend the March preview day in addition to the scholars week thing? I am thinking about going part-time now so I can save some money and keep my job. Apparently you get to choose before you start....

For sure. I am terrified of not working at all. I tried that once my freshman year of undergrad and failed miserably. lol. Are you still considering other schools? I wish they all had to give decisions one way or the other before seat deposits are due. Even a waitlist would be nice. I would feel so much more confident about dropping that $450 if I knew what my options were. I guess that is all part of the game though.

Congrats on Southwestern! I have not visited, but I hear nothing but good things! I won't be going tomorrow but you have to tell me about it. Unfortunatly, Cal Western has not made a good impression on me via my contact with them (or lack thereof), so it is unlikely that I will be attending. It sounds like you have had a completely different experience with them though. Good luck and keep me posted on your decision!

Yea....I am not so sure where I am going to end up. I will be taking the LSAT again in either June or September pending a miracle from USD or SMU. You will LOVE San Diego though! This place is amazing!
