Thanks for well wishes, and the same to you! I applied FT everywhere because i do not have work secured except for my current location. I inidicated i'd accept PT if need be, but we will see. Cal Western is pretty darn nice so far.

well I hope you are right! i applied EA to Santa Clara and was deferred to their regular admissions. they told me to write an addendum explaining my grades.

My application to Baylor was Fall 2010. Things didn't work out, but I'm not too worried about it. Hopefully things will turn out better for you, good luck! keep me posted

Hey! I applied for Fall 2010. I also noticed today that on the status checker it now says my file is in review, which is a change from when it just said my application had been sent to the committee. I applied 11/12. Hope this helps, and good luck to you as well.

My status checker at Baylor lost half of the options below the "App Status" thing. Then yesterday, I got my acceptance letter, but no notification of any scholarship money. I've read on someone else's page that they got a scholly letter after being accepted "via the status checker". My status checker never said whether I was accepted, it just say's my decision letter has been mailed. And I'm assuming I probably won't get any money. Good luck, let me know how it goes!

I haven't heard from any of my Cali schools. I recently decided to apply to some bc I freaked out and thought that I may actually want to stay in Cali. I guess we will see what happens, good luck on your cycle:)!

at Cal Western! I will be visiting and enrolling in the Summer Enrichment Program. Are you considering that program?

I want Cal Western over UNLV due to the CW connections i have in vegas. it would be a wash, and UNLV would be a bit more limiting regionally since i have no real connections. I will visit in March i think, for the admitted students day (March 27). I want to be in SD, so unless something big happens, Cal Western is where i will be!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed with ya. From what I understand, rejections go out in emails, but I have also seen that acceptances show up on the status checker. However, I believe they may have changed their delivery system so that decisions are not disclosed on the status checker. I can't remember where I saw that, but I think it was either on here somewhere or TLS. I'm not too hopeful though, as my status checker is showing that I can still apply for Sping 2011. We'll see; good luck!!

No scholarship info yet, just the "days to remember" letter for me. I am actually going to visit next friday, but i will be attending the Admitted Students Day in March as well. Will you be there? I am psyched!

Yes i will be attending Preview Day and Scholar's Day. I can't wait until only a week before a decision has to be made to visit. If i were already working in SD i'd consider part time, but i don't think i will make enough to really "save" ya know?

Ya, it's ridiculous how long they take. If I don't hear back by the May I don't think I can seriously considier either. I will be happy with Miami though, good luck with your cycle :) and congrats on the schools you have gotten into!!!

So I'm psyched about Saturday! Got into Southwestern the other day and guess what day deposits are due...same as Cal Western! they aren't making anything easy here...

thanks! I will be missing their ASD this saturday. Admissions said anyone who doesnt show up will get their acceptance packet mailed to them the following monday. hopefully I can see that packet soon and then book a flight to the east coast

Cal Western was great. I really enjoyed myself. I'm sorry you felt like they have not been the best towards you. What school are you leaning towards now?

will you at least attend scholar's day and see what they have to offer? it will be a chance to get a more personal look at the school. either way, good luck with your decision.

did you get an email today from SCU? I got one from them apologizing that they are taking so long to respond and that they should have a decision of either acceptance or wait list by the end of April

haha yaaa, i think i'm going to withdraw though... i am visiting Miami in mid-May, so if i love it there i'm just going to go there (which I have a feeling I will). If not, it will probably be between USD and Santa Clara (and hopefully Loyola). I am sure USD, Loyola, and Santa Clara will come through for you:)!
