I feel sorry for The Lakeshore Athletic Club. I wonder how many times I've accidentally gone to www.lsac.com.

Fee Waivers from the following schools: Northwestern, William and Mary, Alabama, Arizona, Cardozo, Baylor, Temple, Syracuse, and St. Louis University.

I was kind of tricked by Washington and Lee. It turns out that everyone who applies online gets their fee waived. I thought I was special :-p.

11/03/07: Email from Baylor, my file is complete. The website says the decision on my file has been made and my decision letter will be sent within 10 days of 11/06/07. Wish me luck!

11/05/07: Email from Houston saying my application was received.

11/08/07: Email from Chicago, my file is complete.

11/10/07: Email from UT, my file is complete.

11/12/07: Emails from BC and Temple, my files are complete. BC says since my app is early notification, they will send their decision on Dec. 14. Temple says their decision will come in eight to twelve weeks.

11/13/07: Email saying I have a fee waiver from Marquette University. My dad went to undergraduate school there.

11/15/07: My application to Northwestern is in the ether. Wish me luck.

11/15/07: I just got a big white envelope from Baylor Law School with my letter of acceptance and a scholarship that covers half of tuition, however much that is. It's my first acceptance letter!

11/16/07: Email from Cardozo, my file is complete.

11/19/07: Email from Stanford, my file is complete.

11/20/07: Email from Washington and Lee, my file is complete. Email from UC Berkeley, my file is under review.

11/27/07: Email from UT saying they were going to hold my file until the Regular Decision period. They said they will make a decision by mid-April. That sucks but it's better than a no.

11/27/07: Email from the University of Washington, my file is complete.

12/03/07: Email from SMU, my file is complete.

12/05/07: Email from Arizona, my file is complete.

12/15/07: Little blue post card from George Washinton, my file is complete.

12/17/07: Letter from Boston College saying that they are holding my application until Regular Decision. Grrr

12/20/07: I got a big white envelope from Temple saying I was accepted. That's two!

12/24/07: I just decided to check on the status of my Fordham application. It shows I'm complete, but under decision it says "2nd Evaluation." Perhaps that is a deferment.

12/26/07: Yep, it is a deferment. I received a letter in the mail saying that Fordham will be taking a second look at me.

12/31/07: I got an email from Colorado, my file is complete.

01/04/08: I got a big promising package in the mail from UGA. I thought it was an acceptance, but then I opened it to find a letter saying they had received my application along with a big brochure. It was a bit of a let down.

01/10/08: I got a call from the Dean of Admissions from Cardozo telling me I was accepted!

01/11/08: I sent an email to Maryland asking about the status of my application and was told my files was complete and under review.

01/12/08: I got a little white envelope from U of H saying I have been accepted.

01/16/08: I got a little white envelope from UC Berkeley saying I was rejected. I'm not surprised but it still makes me sad.

01/21/08: I got an email from Northwestern telling me to check my application status. The have put my application on hold and I may have to wait until May to know their decision.

01/22/08: I got a postcard from Boston University saying my file was complete and under review. I also checked my status on the UGA law school site. The status checker says my file is complete.

01/28/08: I got an email from The George Washington University. I have been accepted! It's my first Tier 1 school! I also got an email from William and Mary. My file is complete. I also got a no from Chicago, but that's not that surprising.

02/01/09: My early admission application got a deferment from SMU to the regular admission cycle. Oh well. My GWU packet came in the mail today as well.

02/07/08: I got a little white envelope from Stanford saying "No."

02/21/08: I got home from a business trip to find a little white envelope from Maryland saying "No."

02/22/08: "No" from BC and a USB thumb drive from GWU. I am enticed.

02/26/08: I checked online and saw that UGA says "No." Oh well.

03/25/08: Waitlisted at Texas. I hate all of this indecision. Also, waitlisted at William and Mary for what that's worth.

03/26/08: Email from U of Washington, I'm on their waiting list too.

04/08/08: Letter from Washington and Lee, I'm on their waiting list.
