wow. congrats on your acceptances. what did the loyola acceptance letter look like??... I'm really pulling for you we have very similar numbers and backgrounds.
On your cycle so far. I know it isnt what you were expecting but at least you will be attending somewhere this fall and if need be you can work your behind off and transfer somewhere. I am also hoping to get into the CLEO program, I am crossing my fingers and hoping. Well again congratulations and I wish for further blessings!!!
Congrats on U of Miami acceptance. Its a great school and I think you should consider it. You have come a long way. See, perseverance does pay off. What did you think help you getting into U of Miami as their median LSAT is 157. Again congrats to a soon to be 1L.
It seems like you are an awesome candidate. You should definitely go for CLEO. I got accepted in there too and I will be attending for sure. Just don't know which location.. also in case if you already do'nt know this, CLEO is highly selective and they only pick 80 people in around a 1000 application from across the country. So feel loved and don't feel that no body wants you. :) cheers
yeah i talked to him before the cycle started...i just asked him if there was anything I could do this year that might improve my chances since i was on the waitlist last year. He told me that my file was strong and that if I got it in earlier that I shouldn't have a problem. But, he specifically said that if I happened to get on the waitlist again to be aggressive. So I took that to mean email and call and write a letter maybe. I guess I would just call 806-8009 and leave a message for him...just say that you are very interested in the school and would commit to going if offered admission. I would maybe write a letter explaining any deficiencies in your file...maybe have another LOR. You could email, too...cause he said to be aggressive! Let me know if you have any more questions!!
hey congrats on CLEO and acceptances to law schools. I wish you good luck with both. How did you hear about Rutgers Newark. Did they nominate you? Or the acceptance came before the CLEO acceptance? Either way , did you notify them of your acceptance to CLEO? I am curious because its one of my top choices and i am really hoping to get accepted there. Thanks and good luck to a soon to be 1L :)
no dude i am really not sure. there are many decisions pending so I am holding out for them. If worse comes to worse, I will just do CLEO and then re apply early in the cycle next year. I cannot believe the "W" next to Loyala+Sholarship. Which school are you looking to go?Also, I have not yet been assigned the CLEO institute. So we might be attending together in Missouri. We'll see.
