Hi. If I were you I would take the LSAT again. U have ample time to study to really improve ur score. I only had a month btwn Oct and Dec and my score went up 8 points. I would take Testmasters if u havent taken an LSAT class b4. They are the best. I dont believe that BLS just looked at my higher score. I think my increase definately added to my application but I do think that it was my personal statement that got me in.
Hello, I sent you an email concerning the post you left on my page. Let me know if I can help further.
Did you end up retaking the LSAT...how do you think you ended up? I hope you did well.
hey, good luck this cycle!! u have a great GPA! stupid test, eh? i think u should retake it though.. seriously, with them taking the highest u have NOTHING to lose.. just keep studying.. and go in with no stress!!! even if u increase it 1 point! that will help, ya kno? good luck.. if u have any input on the schools i have applied to that would be greatttt! since i am ohh sooo confused:(
Sorry to hear about your Florida Coastal rejection! I had actually applied for Fall '07, so there's not much hope for me as far as that school goes. I know you'll get into Cooley at least, so keep your head up!
At Hofsta, I sent in the optional essay for applicants coming from disadvantaged background. A couple of the other schools had similar things, as well as admission through conditional programs. Hopefully that'll help!
hey thanks man...good luck to you too, yaar. if it doesn't work out for you this year, study again for the LSAT and apply again, Im sure you'll get in a good school...thats what I did and lets hope I can get into a better school this year....PowerScore books are great for studying for the LSAT
GL on your cycle, I'll be routing for you! Yeah applying early has been vital.
hello there desi bro: you will do well dont worry about florida coastal man, trust me, you can do better. i mean you have some better schools on your list from where you are yet to hear back - Howard is one of my top choice and I am really hoping to get in the DC area. (cus thats where the opps are) I see you have applied there too. Good luck with the admission process there man. I will keep an eye out to see how the admissions process turns out for you this year.
Thanks for the nice comment! I wish you the best of luck with your endeavors!
Thanks, to be honest with you just to have an opportunity to go to any law school is a plus. I would prefer to stay out west since it would be closer to family , but whatever I have to do, I have to do, know what I mean. How about yourself? Looks like you have a pretty good selection of schools there! Don't worry too much about rejections, you can always just try, try again as they say...... Wish you the best of success with your law school endeavors!!
Hey great to meet you!! Looks like you got quite a list there, I remember that.. haha From the looks of things, i think you are an in for FAMU and Cooley, and Thomas Jefferson and maybe Valpo. Conditional acceptance for Nova. I was wait listed at St. Thomas but withdrew. I would also submit one to Indiana (indianapolis) they give chances to a select few with lower lsats, like myself... On the application you can check now that you would accept either part time or full time. Also show that you are interestest in their special summer program. Add the other schools that I got into also. Let the schools know how much you want to go, especially indy, and that you would go if accepted. Good luck this cycle, let me know if there is anything else I can do. Keep your fingers crossed and be hopefully, in the end it is all worth it!!
definitely. Percentages are definitely in your favor. Answer 2 more questions per section...and you're ready to go! You could take in in February or June and STILL apply to schools for Fall 2007.
I'm pulling for you!
I don't know what kind of advice I give. I know that Tulsa is supposed to be a really good school. Everyone talks about how nice it is and how nice everyone is. Further, I've checked out Texas Southern in Houston and it seems like a nice place. South Texas College of Law is in Houston as well and the neighborhood just south of it is very nice as it's in Rice village. Just good luck man and if the unthinkable happens, we can always retest.

Hello, Best of luck this cycle. I have sent you an email re the information you requested from me. Hope it is helpful.
i see you are logged on. how are you man? hanggin in there? :)
congrats on cooley!!! thats the first one. but definitely not the last! best wishes.
I know someone might say it's only Cooley but you're in somewhere!!! Congrats - and lionheart is right - this definitely won't be your last acceptance :-) Now you ready to share some of the wealth? PLEASE!
Congrats on the Cooley acceptance. I'm pulling for you.
I got waitlisted at one of my schools as well but they said don't call or email until after April 20th... I'm sending a personal letter of continued interest anyway. Did Valpo have the "Why Us" essay option? If not, I'd say write the cont. letter of interest and outline some of your reasons for applying and attending if accepted. That's what I'm going to try...hopefully it works out for us!
hopesndreams has the right idea; keep showing a strong interest. Don't press them too hard, but definitely write them a formal letter expressing your strong interest in their program. You are going to get in.
I left you a message at LSD.org about UDM. HTH, you'll do fine you have a great shot at a few of your choices.
hey! i'm on the waitlist at john marshall too. i'm hoping for good news for the both of us. good luck. and please let me know when you hear from them.
Hi! Thanks for your message :) you applied to great schools and God willing, you will have sucess..no worries. you mentioned coastal as one of your top choices..have u been in touch with them? i was in contact with them throughout the process...heard back within three weeks..really fortunate since it was one of my top choices. let me know if there is anything i can do. we applied to similar schools...will post updates/schools as i hear back. :)
Thanks for the kind words. Yeah, unfortunately my LSAT score did not match my testing scores. I'd like to stay in Boston (NESL, Suffolk) but I also really like Albany. Most apps are still pending so I'll see how it all works out. Good luck with your cycle too! What are your top preferences?
Rutgers will come through, and make sure your letters of interest go to your waitlist schools! You'll get in somewhere great ;)
I'm so happy for u! thats great...udm i hear has a great immigration law program which is what i'm interested in...and the muslim comm. in detroit is also nice :) congrats again..i knew u would do great.
Congratulations on your continued success this cycle. UDM is a school that I strongly considered, and for a very specific reason; immigration law. Their immigration law clinic is one of the finest in the country. As it stands, Drexel offered me a scholarship that will pay 80% of my tuition. You still have a lot of pending applications, but at the very least you already have an awesome acceptance. =)
Some acceptances rolling in for you. See, perserverence pays off!! Are you leaning toward UDM? Best of luck wherever you wind up--you deserve it
Check out a profile from last years cycle who did aample, Mike375. He states quite clearly "Nova's AAMPLE is a waste of $$$$$." I checked the LSAC data shortly after I was accepted into it and found that out of 80 students who participated, 7 matriculated to the fall class. That's less than 10%. Another profiler wrote on rsiergert's profile that he tried it and stated that its akin to "being thrown into the ocean without a life raft. No one helps you." I also have had some past experiences (NOT positive) with Florida A & M. Personally, I think UDM should be your front-runner, but investigate it further. A &M is only provisionally accredited, and there are some issues there, but find out what you can. Thanks for your kind words and I wish you well. Sorry for making this so long. Peace
hey wicked, congrats to your many acceptances. i applied to the FT program at NESL and it's probably my top choice so far. If you haven't already, you should def write a letter the waitlisted/deferred schools to let them know you are still very interested and to let them know what you've been up to, any specific projects of importance you're working on, etc... and let them know how you'll contribute to the diversity of the law school. You wanna stand out at the top of your waitlist. Good luck with the rest of the cycle and it's great that you have some great options!!
Thank you. Congrats to you as well. I haven't visited CSU and have never been to Cleveland, but a good friend lives there and loves it. I am still waiting to hear from a school in Houston and if I don't get in then I will be going to Cleveland State. What are you going to do?
CONGRATS ON CLEO BRO. YOU SOO DESERVE IT VERY MUCH. Hopefully we will be at the same institute. See you this summer.
WOW! First of all congrats on all of your acceptances, your list is impressive. I don't know if I could have done all of those applications! That takes diligence. Well first CSU is pretty small, it has a well known program and I have yet to hear about my decision from them. I would say that the campus is nice and everything is easy to get to. The staff is great to talk to as well. I visited in January and in March. Both times it was FREEZING COLD. And Cleveland cold is different than PA/NY/NJ cold, they have the "lake effect" if you can live with wearing 4 layers 5 months out of the year, then you'll love it!
hey! been watching your profile for the past month. so proud of you! congrats! good luck next year.
thanx for the encouragement! scores are not great-but ps and recs are. getting anxious-haven't heard anything in almost a month. what's taking them so long? how long after you applied to Cooley did you hear back?
Congrats to you too! I heard about Rutgers Newark through email followed up with an acceptance letter, I wasn't nominated by any school. And no I didn't notify them of my acceptance to CLEO, but on the application I do believe they ask you if you plan on applying. Where were you placed for CLEO? I will be going to Missouri, I got my letter yesterday. Did any school nominate you, if so how did you find out?
Hey Wicked, Are you going to CSU? Please email me if you are and we can connect. Thanks.
On CLEO and all of your acceptances. Were you nominated for the program by a school? I want to get my letter too...
Salaam! thank you so much for your email...i was at coastal yesterday, got back in the evening and then crashed..so tired...will email you today. thank u again for ur advice :)
I was shocked to see that you were rejected from Pierce and oh my god Western New england ! what were they thinking. Your GPA is good and you are a URM. Would just like to know if you received financial aid papers to fill out before you were rejected from Franklin Pierce? Thanks
..and how's it going? Wanted to see where you decided on heading off to for LS. I'm in the process of moving to JAx for Coastal this weekend. You've got some great options. Good luck!!
I saw all the 'CLEO' references on your profile and am curious what it is. Would you please give me a brief explanation?
Hey bro! Just dropped in to see your status. I see that not only did you get multiple acceptances from some awesome places, but you also got into CLEO. All that hard work, and persistence really paid off. Best of luck and congratulations! PS - What was your LSAT again? You can email it to me if you don't want to disclose it.
Thanks for your kind words. The LSATS is all practice. The games still kinda got the best of me still, but its all practice. Good luck to you Brother!
