Additional info & updates

My numbers are seriously skewed because of ADD. Wasn't diagnosed until I was 28. Meds help but I still have to work around it.

I too am hoping that the fact that my grades are nearly 10 years old will soften their impact.

37 years old - lots of life/work experience & excellent LORs are my best shot.

Been working in the banking industry for the last 4 years.

Geographically bound so only applying to local schools. Both have their positives & negatives. U of I would be A LOT less debt, but GU would be A LOT more convenient.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!

11/29/07 - Haven't heard from GU as to whether they consider my app complete or not. I don't think U of I even starts evaluating apps until January! It will be a while. (Sigh)

Another Non-trad applicant

Hey Idahomtns, Just came across your profile. I am non-trad as well as I am 35. Like you, have a lot of work experience and hoping for the best in applying to law school. My first two semesters in college were spent at Rick's College in Rexburg and I think I had a 1.8 gpa while there so I know about crappy grades. (but you had a reason, I did not) Idaho in my view is a great school. I like how small it is and how cheap it is. My wife is not too keen about moving there though. Good luck to you and hope you fair well this cycle!

I actually called because I hadn't heard a thing, and they informed me that my application was complete. Then they sent an email saying basically that all my materials were received.
