I just read your note in my profile. I will definintely see you at DUKE in the fall. It will definitely be cool to have other parents around. How old is your child?
My son is also 2 years old. I was planning to go to the dinner hosted by ALSSO (Association of Law Student and Significant Others) at the law school after the faculty reception, but ended up going back to my hotel with the intention of relaxing before going to the DBA event later... I heard the next day that there were many current students/parents who brought their kids to the ALSSO event. Coincidentally, this information was provided by an admitted student who also has children.
I do! Well, only one, but it feels like more some days. My daughter is two... definitely terrible... but loads of fun. Anyway, just wanted to say hey. I'm sure we'll be meeting in the fall at one of the random law school family events. Feel free to email me if you'd like to network a little before then.
