4-27-07 Just found out that UNC put me on their waitlist. Things are starting to get interesting. I loved Temple and already sent in my seat deposit but if i could some how get into UNC I would have in state tuition which would only be 12,000 a year.

4-23-07 Rejected by Wisconsin

4-13-07 Waitlisted at Florida

4-11-07 Visited Temple and Villanova today. Temple offered me $12,000 for the first year but its not renewable.

3-31-07 Rejected from Notre Dame.

3-28-07 I could not believe how long it was taking me to hear from Temple. I e-mailed the assistant dean for admission who I had talked to several times before. I politely let her know that I had been accepted to Villanova and that their seat deposit deadline was coming up on April 1st. I sent the e-mail on sunday and just got an e-mail tonight. She informed me that I was accepted and that I should get an official e-mail on Thur or Fri but that she just wanted to let me know. Im not sure if letting them know that Nova wanted me helped me at all but I am sure it didn't hurt.

3-24-07- Rejected from Alabama. This is not a part of the country I really want to go to and I only applied because they gave me a fee wavier. They asked a question on the app about why I wanted to go to Alabama and I don't think I wrote a very convincing response.

3-23-07- Rejected at Boston College

3-16-07- $15,000 scholarship offer from University of Richmond.

3-13-07- E-mail from Penn State upping their scholarship offer from $6,000 a year to $12,000. They also offered me $200 for travel expenses and free night stay in a hotel if I want to come up for the open house on March 30th.

3-12-07- Waitlisted at Maryland. Free laptop offer from Michigan State.

3-10-07- Rejected at Georgetown

3-9-07- In at Michigan State with a full ride as long as I decide by April 15th and Keep a 3.0.

3-5-07- For some reason LSN deleted all my additional info. Rejection letter from Ohio State.

Congratulations on all of your acceptances so far! Do you think that Marquette already decided on your admission before you toured the campus? Or was the tour kind of like an interview? Sorry for all the questions... :-D

Thanks for the feedback. I asked for more money a while ago, and the dean told me they'd have to wait until late march or early april to see what's available. Hmmm...I hope that means I'll get something in the mail soon.... Do you think you might attend PSU? Which campus?

I liked how BH made a negative comment and then didn't leave a link back to his numbers hmm. BH how do you know what my soft factors are? Also, MS is a 4th tier school and my number aren't so average by their standards.
