12/4/06-Email from SMU stating Application Received by early decision deadline and a decision would be mailed no later than January 31, 2007.

12/12/06-Email from SMU stating my application is complete.

12/15/06-Letter from Texas Wesleyan dated 12/13/06 stating that my application file is complete.

12/18/06-Email from Texas Wesleyan stating that I have been accepted and a more formal acceptance letter will be mailed. Whew! At least I am in somewhere.

12/20/06-Acceptance letter from Texas Wesleyan dated 12/18/06 received. In same envelope was letter notifying me of $7000 a year Dean's Scholarship. Yeah!

1/10/07-Received large white envelope with a letter from Texas Wesleyan congratulating me again on my acceptance and enclosing a t-shirt.

1/25/07-Phone mail message from SMU. I'm in and will be receiving an info packet in a few days!

1/26/07-Received acceptance info packet from SMU.

2/1/07-Received letter from SMU regarding Admitted Students Dinner.

2/8/07-Received message from SMU congratulating me again on my acceptance.

2/17/07-Received SMU Dean's Scholarship for $2,500 a year for four years. It came in a white envelope with three sheets of paper.

2/21/07-Decided SMU is the place for me. Paid full seat deposit today and sent back the form accepting the Dean's Scholarship. Will attend the admitted students dinner with my husband on 3/22/07.

Looks like we have similar numbers and similar choices of schools. Did you have any conditions attached to the $7000 scholarship at Wesleyan. MIne said it is renewable based on academic rank but didnt specify anything else(like % i have to be in and stuff).

Yes, the Dean's Scholarship is for $7,000 a year, renewable based on academic rank. The letter didn't fully explain the requirements for renewal, but I'm sure they'll be sending more info later.

only one person so far, and they didn't list their lsat. i'm hoping for at least $15k per yr to match someone with my numbers from last cycle. good luck! is the admitted students dinner at smu for PT only? i need to get organized!

I'm not sure how I received the Dean's Scholarship, but I did complete the optional essay. I just wish there was more money available to PT students.
