Additional info & updates

When factoring in scholarship, tuition, fees, medical insurance and housing, I calculated the actual additional cost vs. Michigan as:
Chicago: $77,000
NYU: $111,000

A theoretical Columbia with $0 scholarship would have been $164,000 more, which made declining the waitlist very easy.

Congrats on your awesome cycle. Please withdraw from xyz school! I love it. Have you heard back from Chicago about increasing your scholarship? Let me know how it goes. I think I'll try a similar tactic after ASW. (Although, I dont have a Darrow to match)

Hey there, fellow Darrow! Your cost comparison breakdown really puts things in perspective (I couldn't be bothered to actually figure out the price differences.) Congrats on making a decision (the right one, IMHO), and see you in the fall!
